Despite the popular impression of Tekken, the game is actually very movement heavy and is pretty much all about whiff punishing. Movement will be easier in Tekken 7 than in previous versions, which is a good thing because it's pretty damn execution heavy in previous iterations.

If you're just starting out, have a look through Aris' youtube (avoidingthepuddle), levelupyourgame, and tekkenzaibatsu.com. Tekken has always had a bit of a problem with tutorials (or rather, lack thereof) and the aforementioned are good resources for teaching you the basics.

Not even then. JFJ made Yoshi work in plenty of big name tournaments, including EVO. Nobody's ever going to dethrone Kazuya, because EWGF is just too good, but every character has the tools they need to win at every level of play.
