No. I'm under the assumption that it has no use, and we have found all there is to found. we got the ending to PT the DAY it was released. The person who beat it did it by ACCIDENT.... we didn't figure out how to repeat the ending for about 9 days.

At 1:07:32, MC is seen shooting a pistol at The Family man.
At 1:07:32 Pete says, "We're probably going to end up like Andre." Although so far I don't think anyone has ever heard him say this in the demo.
At 1:07:36 you can see in the top left the character has wet hands and is climbing up or gripping something (ladder?).
At 1:07:35 on the far right you can see first person view of someone getting into and driving a car.
At 1:07:37 you can see family man walk straight to you in what appears to be the same place as here (Where you get curb stomped. Another death ending perhaps?). If I had to guess, this would be the second abandoned building you can see in outside in the beginning of video mode.
At 1:07:37 you can see fire including Man on fire.
The white car you see at 1:08:01 also seems to be the same white car seen driving (in first person) and the same car in the garage with the cop at 1:07:43.
At 1:07:43 in the lower left, you can see a black cop pointing towards the player, he is also the same figure that is shining the flashlight trough the window in the official trailer
At 1:07:45 Family man headbutts the player and hits the player with a shovel

Check the demo page on the store or just look it up but if I remember right it's got something called a survival pack which gives you items and unlocks the hardest difficulty from the start. The Deluxe Edition or whatever it's called gives four side stories which is in one pack and the second pack adds one story to the main game.

Weaker, Ada or Hunk moves what is remaining of Lisa after the mansion incident to a research facility in Louisiana. They build a house over the research facility. Lisa evolves by dying and being a ghost like entity which pretty much could manipulate the location at will. Kind of like Silent Hill's Alessa or Walter Sullivan. Whoever dies becomes part of Lisa and becomes used as enemies to try and stop you. It is why you hear Family Man say "welcome to the family" when he kills you. You are actually becoming one with the entity that is controlling the place.

The shadow for the axe is a bit fucked up.
When I'm in the kitchen I can see the characters shadow move realistically with the light from the windows but when I hold up the axe with L2 the shadow stays the same wherever I move.
There must be something to unlock with the shadow of the axe I'm convinced. I know about the attic stuff but has anyone tried anywhere else?

I honestly think the escape from the house is something stupid. Like you aren't actually in the house, your character is wearing a VR headset. After you get punched they take it off and it goes back to you sitting in that chair watching your friend get killed and you get grudged.

She also says something about memories hold the truth, this could mean there's something more we need to do with the VHS world. You have the power to choose - Choose what? There's no choices in the demo. Even if you choose to not go down into the hole, the game won't do anything. You can't choose to stay put outside, because the game won't progress.
You can assign the finger, tape, cutters, etc. to quickslots but you can't equip them or do anything with them, only the axe.
7 repeats a lot in the demo but nobody knows the significance of it.

I firmly believe this is to show you the mechanics of the game, the axe for the combat, the video for some sort of mechanic in which you can alter things in the past, and the hillbilly to show a constant stalker that could come out at any time, and is invincible, like Nemesis or the Hook Man. I think this is it, unlike PT iin which people figured out how to beat it in a matter of hours, this one is at a blockade. That's it, we're done, there's nothing else. so yes, we can decrypt it BUT ONLY ONCE the 3.50 kernel exploit is released (because then we can patch the kit to be activated and do everything we want)
