That's not true. DGS is explicitly about Japanese people travelling abroad. They get treated differently because they are Japanese, people suspect they are using oriental occult magic, they defend a famous Japanese writer, the fact that they don't speak English is a plot point in the beginning, it goes into the relationship between the 19th century Japanese and British empires... I don't see how the main series is more Japanese.

Did you even see the OP pictures? Or miss the entirety of "Japanifornia" throughout the series? AA has always been very obviously Japanese, and the localization team even talked about how they're kind of under the assumption that this is an alternate universe where Japanese immigrated more en masse to the Western US and were never persecuted. They could very easily fit DGS within that.
The only reason DGS isn't getting localized is the same AAI2 isn't: no Phoenix, and Capcom doesn't believe in its sales.

Case 1 is a decent intro case, not as good as AJ's or AAI2's but better than a lot of the others I feel
Cases 2, 3 and 4 are all really good in my opinion
Case 5 is one you'll like if you love how dumbfuck retarded AA always gets with it's stories at the end of each game (so basically /v/ will love it). How you feel about Apollo is a pretty big factor in your enjoyment of it too though, it's "his" big story case after all.
