I'm surprised 6 ranks higher than 2 on this list. Both are fantastic, though. 6 was a good return to the series' standard formula.
MMBN is a cool series. I only played the first one as a kid, and I only ever really emulated 2 and never got through it. The series is a little formulaic, ain't it?

It might have been okay playing each one a year apart on release but playing 4 of them back to back was a struggle to slog through the last one. At least it was a time when I was burnt out from console games and spent the whole year running down a list of GBA roms. I loved the BN games but playing then back to back is painful.
