Yeah, they've added new stuff but it feels like they're going in the wrong direction. The public Alpha was smooth, now the controls are clunky. Also it runs like shit, probably because it's made with Unity.

These cheesy 80s miami beach looking games are what I want virtual reality to take off for. Also night time in futuristic cities, like that one TMNT IV level where you're riding on future hover boards. I don't know what it's called but that feeling I get makes me want to live.
Is there any video out there of the ending credits to Outrunners? The one with the slow sunset at the end of the freeway on the horizon with cars going by? I remember it so distinctly from my childhood, but I've not seen it in like 20 years.

2SP is a straight up port of the arcade game while Coast2Coast is more of home version that includes the content from both 2 and 2SP as well as the original singleplayer missions
I really don't know why that added the port as it's own mode, maybe for the purists or the people who just wanted to drive a testarossa right from the getgo

There's a PC version of Outrun 2006 coast 2 coast for PC if you look around.
You can even make LAN with up to 6 players.
I found a copy of the PS2 game too, but I can't deal with the PS2 controller.

Oh. Me too. Get the PC version itll run on anything made in the last 10 years and it has the 2nd set of tracks. Only complaint is slipstream makes it way easier than the xbox version.
