How did this shit even make it to the PTR? I've never seen WoW in such a bad state.

They made it simpler, but stat weights and gear matter a ton more now. You'll hit for barely any damage unless you stack your main secondaries. I have mythic raid gear that sits in my bags due to secondaries being different.

Not as much as you would think. Lots of abilities got pruned in favor of each spec having it's own ability set rather than class generalized abilities. Currently able to fit everything properly on two Action Bars, with a bit of extra room.
New dungeons are way different though, lots more moving around for direct dodging, but there's this thing called Proving Grounds to help tune people into class roles when they want to.

I haven't played the beta, but, unlike most posters in this thread, I've kept up on all the changes being announced for Legion. I haven't played WoW in a few years, but I've gotta say, Legion doesn't look all that bad. Certainly better than WoD. Sure, there are some retard friendly adjustments, but overall it seems to be a pretty dense and interesting expansion with plenty of additions casual and hardcore players have been asking for. I don't think it will make WoW a behemoth like it once was, but I will be surprised if it doesn't revitalize subscription numbers for a while.
Then again, I might be a Blizzard shill.

New Warrior Animations are pretty noice.
Nobody knows when the event is going down, but estimates put it at earliest a week away. Quite a few things not yet on PTR, though.
Also use the Korean server. I know that sounds weird, but it's the most stable.
Oh and DHs aren't in, don't get your hopes up. Spamming create new character can let you 'make' one and go through customization, but it won't let you play them.

My friends on the PTR all know DK dominance won't last long on live realms. Heck, two handed frost DKs were nerfed within 24 hours of going live, and we haven't recovered since.

Classes early in every expansions of every MMO have been somewhat imbalanced. That's why they try testing it out in PTR.

to be fair, in the broken shore scenario that you play it has both the alliance and the horde teaming up to go fight the bad guys
then the path diverges and the alliance goes to the front and Sylvannas says "We'll cover your flank!"
If you play as the alliance you just get overwhelmed from all sides without the help of the horde, as if they abandoned you to die.
If you play as the horde you get overwhelmed and get the fuck out, leaving the alliance to die, but not without taking heavy losses.
Its a bit justified, but she's being real "muh theramore" about it.

I had that same moment of realization after a while.
Playing WCIII made me forget that The Horde were the bad guys in 1/2. I liked Thrall and Rexxar (because of course I did they were protagonists). The Orcs don't have the demon blood excuse any more. The Alliance has always been well within their rights to terminate anything that threatened their way of life, and even then gave The Horde plenty of chances in the name of greater threats. Garrosh was a fuckhead, but every member of The Horde that followed him could have said no, and didn't.

Yeah exactly, people just try to make it out that garrosh was evil but not the horde itself. That is only half true, yes there a plenty of good people in the horde, but the amount of evil and bad people vastly outweigh the few good people they have. Garrosh wasn't the only one, he had a fuckton of loyal followers who did his bidding with a smile on their faces. Orgrimmar was full of them, tons of footmen who were fine with it, tons of shaman that were willing to kill the elements themselves just for fun. The majority of the horde are just outright evil people if left to their own devices.

You use them for a few missions in the class campaign, but outside of that you honestly don't have to use them. Outside of the campaign missions there's usually 4-6 at a time, some giving small amounts of gold or one of the shitty artifact power items.
Campaign missions being locked behind the mission table sucks for some like DKs since we have to do quite a few for the horsemen and essences though. If they just reduced the amount of time you're waiting around or even had you go with your followers/champions on the mission it'd be fine.
World quests can be kind of customizable since you can pick which ones you want to do. So if you want to do Valarjar quests in Stormheim for the cache but don't want to do the shitty gold quests, you can just do ones with order resources or AP upgrades, even the PvP free-for-all zones. The thing I hate about world quests though is they take forever to spawn once you've done a ton.
Honestly the biggest issue with Legion, as it is for almost any expansion, is the story.
Why isn't Wrathion doing more to fight the Legion?
Wasn't the whole point of the legendary questline in MoP to prepare us for their invasion?
Why did they have to make Illidan some sort of angel of prophecy?
All signs pointed to him simply wanting to fight the legion to protect his homeworld as far back as Warcraft 3.
Why aren't the people of Draenor helping us fight the legion on our world after we saved theirs?
Hell they even said they would, and Blizzard asspulls that they "need to rebuild their world"
The entirety of WoD was there to bring GulDan back so he could summon the Legion to Azeroth.

Garrosh did nothing wrong in nuking Theramore. He may have done a lot of bad shit, but that was entirely justified. Almost nobody died in the actual nuking, and it saved countless lives by preventing further alliance troops from being funneled into the barrens.

They'll be filled out after a long time. Months, I think they said last. You have the ability to change your artifact talents for a reason.
Choice is there and will last about as long as any relevant glyph choice you could make in game right now.
