I've been on the 'FF15 is a step on the wrong direction' team since the first battle footage was shown. i'm aware of the doomsaying of previous iterations but i think this will actually be the nail in the main series. Final Fantasy past 15 will just be FFXIV xpacs and spinoffs like Bravely, and then side titles like Dissidia and World of FF

After fat-faced Chinese knock off Tidus I was ready to write SE off forever.

Resident Evil on GC is one of the best games of all time.
I am making an exception for 12 because I never got to finish it back in the day and they're doing more than just a slapdash spit and polish.
I never said I hoped 15 will fail either.
That being said, 15 has been in various stages of development for a fucking decade and has changed hands at least a few times. I won't be surprised if it ends up being a mediocre game.
