Don't understand why they implemented the wait mode thing as a menu option rather than just implementing it into the game as a vats like system. They could have used it as some power that the characters have to make combat more strategic, but instead they're making it look like an easy mode handicap for slower players or something.

I'm going to laugh for like three days straight once this ill-conceived game flounders. Sure, it'll sell (literally due to hype and the gap between mainline Final Fantasies, the last being 13 in 2009, I don't count 13-2 or LR) but I think it's gonna get panned by user reviews. I don't think it'll go above 80%, and that's pretty bad for a game a giant staff has been working on for a decade. Final Fantasy XV won't be able to will live up to the standards set by The Witcher 3, no matter how much weebs want to believe that it can even come close to touching it. The Witcher 3 is pretty much the pinnacle of RPG quality, whether it's the icredible OST, the vast beautiful world, the attention to detail, the amount of content, the fantastic characters, the deep story, the lore and mythology, the sidequests etc. The Witcher 3 truly excelled in everything that makes an RPG great and then some.

If you play FF7 for 2 hours, you’re probably still be in the church trying to save Aerith from the Turks. Initially I was hyped to hell and beyond for this game, but after playing the last demo I don't have any hype left for this game whatsoever. This game is designed to LOOK good but the gameplay is just stupid and overly simplistic. If they're going to design things like this then I'd rather have a traditional turn based combat instead of this crap. And yeah, that microsoft presentation was beyond terrible. Luckily The Last Guardian are coming out in the same timeframe and that's certainly where my money is going instead. I will still buy it, but only during a sale.

Characters are weak I can give you that. Story is somewhat vague given how little they've shown. And please re-read my post. I said it's “like” they've never played an FF game before. If you played 7 for 2 hours, would you know about Sephiroth, Mako, Lifestream, Ancients and more? They're to blame as well if they think if they played an FF game for 2 hours, they’d know everything about the story and the world. And I blame Tabata as well for not inserting at least the scene where Regis sent off Noctis happily which for some reason they only showed off today. At least it will give them a glimpse of how Regis didn't want Noctis to worry about the peace treaty.

I'm more interested in how a series of events occur in a story. It's like clashing your imagination with the story and see how well it match. It helps when I'm not a spoiler-freak. I can give characters a pass since I'm too accustomed to animu-tier character writings.
