Final thoughts?
>>
Eh. I guess it looks okay. It should do it for most people, wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but I'll probably like it well enough.
>>
Dragons dogma for manchildren.
>>
>>341522904
They try to change it up and didnt completely fuck up. Only the game can speeak for itself when it comes out.
>>
I want to see how it will look on the NX
>>
There's not much final about them right now, but I am looking forward to the game.
>>
>>341522904
LOL

I'd say day 1 pirate, but it looks too much like shit to put on my personal queue
>>
>Skyward Sword is so much better
>>
>>341522904
It looks pretty cool. But it's still Nintendo, so I'm betting they'll find some way to fuck it up.
>>
>>341522904
why do we have to wait a year for it to release now? Looks fucking finished to me. Does it really take a year to polish it?
>>
I think they've shown that there is a very fertile groundwork for a good game should they have built one upon it.
>>
>>341523708

I've always believed the "Zelda Cycle" to be bullshit, and I can't wait until all you fags come around as well. Nobody who hates Skyward Sword will ever like it, and will probably hate it even more now that this game seems to have fixed everything that was wrong with it.

God that game was such trash. This is coming from someone who stomached 2.5 playthroughs btw just so I could be sure.
>>
>>341522904

>>
Too good to be true
and it probably is
>>
The Nintendo renaissance begins now. Soon the industry will be purged of movie-games, casuals and the NX will make gameplay great again.
>>
Art style and general quality of the graphics aren't very appealing at all
>>
looks like ass.

Trailer was amazing, game play was shit

Looks like there'll be even more empty space than twilight princess
>>
>>341523892
So because Nintendo fucked up the Wii U, abandoned it early, and still couldn't finish up enough NX software in time for Christmas, anybody who bought the Wii U needs to just sit on it and spin while they delay a basically finished game?
>>
>>341522904
Looks pretty good, treehouse stream had washed out colors for w/e reason.

I like all the interactivity you can have with the environment which is what all the discussion on /v/ seems to be ignoring.

I fucking hate bullet time though and i wish devs would fuck off with that.
>>
>>341524301
Maybe they took the opportunity to polish it up even more, which benefits everyone. Have you ever considered that, or do you just like to go with whatever hypothesis justifies your bitching?
>>

Yes.
>>
>>341523863

But yeah, yes to all of those things if you want to be bitter about it

Not sure. I've always hoped for Zelda to return to being less linear, but never expected it going full sandbox. Don't know if it'll be good, but it was the only game shown this year that makes me want to play it and find out.
>>
>>341524067
Why does /v/ hate skyward sword? Personally I'd say MM=OoT=WW>SS>TP>PH>ST of the ones I've played. SS didn't do anything terribly wrong in my opinion so what is it that /v/ doesn't like?

I just hope it has challenging puzzles

>>

The top is wiiu, the stream on the bottom had washed out colors for some reason but at the playable demo displays the colors were like the top judging from the footage recorded..
>>
>>341524998
You are right. Sandbox worlds are usually things where you can manipulate the environment, you know, cutting down trees. Building things up with physics like some kind of magnets. Destroying and building things in general. You know.. like this game.
>>
>>341524753

That's not how compression works

>>
>>341524753
Skyward Sword did lots of things wrong, like the empty sky, wasted potential with loftwing, constant handholding, and a lot of decisions that come down to personal preference (like revisiting areas)
It's still my favorite 3D Zelda after Ocarina, but it's easy to see why people hate it.
>>
>>341525330
If you really think the promotional footage they had on display behind Aonuma in 2014 was running on an actual Wii U and not a prerender from a development PC, you are an absolute fucking idiot.
>>
>>341524873
ST was PH without Linebeck to carry it. Bland story that was even more boring than PH's. Also ST felt more limited due to the track setting instead of sea. Lastly, the final boss of ST was mechanically better, but less challenging and didn't hit home as well as PH's

The games shown at the PS4 E3 conference don't look like graphical masterpieces of cutting edge technology.

Some of the games are sporting tricks and gimmicks from four years ago. Even Death Stranding, though gorgeous, isn't cutting edge.
>>
>>341522904
Gameplay seems pretty good and it has exploration. As long as it doesn't fall for the usual open world problems, it'll be the best zelda.
>>
>>341524067
>I've always believed the "Zelda Cycle" to be bullshit
The only people who deny the Zelda cycle are the people who are guilty of herd mentality and unknowingly do what is described in the Zelda cycle themselves; you're just in denial.

If you were honest with yourself, you'd be able to just sit back and watch what others do, and you'd notice this pattern of people saying the new game is shit, then when another new one comes out a few years later, that shitty game wasn't really so bad all of a sudden. The Zelda cycle isn't open to debate, it's a fact. It really does happen. Why do you deny that people are inconsistent in their logic?

So this puts it at like a 6-7/10 but there is also all the color and mark it left on the series as a whole. Skyward was so light hearted and fun up until the last hour. (And LE edgy villain was actually cool (ghiram or something))

Seriously looks like it might be the best game in the entire decade

Its like they wanted to take the series back to its roots, its REAL roots with Zelda 1, an open land with a sense of mystery and history that's just there for you to dig around in and discover

The mechanics just look amazing, there's a huge emphasis on interactivity with the world now, plus the physics seem a lot more advanced and malleable. Its like they wanted to game to be a bit more Mario-like but still be Zelda, and as a result you get a world that you can truly touch and interact with

The trend in games right now is to have cinematic gameplay where you just go through the motions, but this is the total reverse of that. Everything I've seen so far just blows me away. It seriously looks like the most innovative game in years, that brings an immersive quality to interacting with the world; it's as if they know about the massive amounts of glitching that can be done in OoT and MM, and decided to incorporate that feeling of playing around with physics into the normal game rules.

It's the game that has me the most hyped at E3, and that's from walking into it expecting to hate it after the last 2 major games. I've got my worries like anyone else, but it looks like it's fun and addressing a lot of issues the series has had in the past.

Loftwing was supposed to be more of a partner and I don't think it even has a name. Most people form a stronger bond with the sailcloth. Everything associated with the sky segment was hung out to dry. There's very few islands you visit outside of Skyloft and the tavern.
There's other personal things like the motion controls, story, and specific parts like collecting tears or music notes. These I disagree with.
>>
Excited but hesitant. I could go either way.
>>
The lack of music is really weird. It feels like it's missing something.
>>
Looks pretty good. Quite how dense it'll be is still slightly questionable and I'm not sold on all of the ideas they've taken straight from other open world games, especially the indie survival shit like durability and hunger, but I can't imagine it not being at least great overall after this. The rune powers look amazingly fun to use and I can't wait to see if they can be upgraded or combined eventually (especially since I get them as much as I like instead of having fecking durability). Fighting also looks much more challenging and seemingly varied, though I could easily see there being one or two dominant strategies (I'm guessing "instant spin attacks", like usual) and a lot of other approaches like grassfires or explosives just used to be a break from routine once or twice and then ignored.

I'd still have enjoyed a girl Link, especially now there's different armors to wear. Sorry.

People always use this excuse. By implication, you are denying that people are inconsistent in their logic.

If you don't deny that people are inconsistent, and that people pretend to not like the new thing because they think it's makes them "cool" on /v/, then you should have no trouble admitting the Zelda cycle is real. I think the only people who would deny it are people who do what is described in the Zelda cycle, and you guys are just mad that we found holes in your logic and we found a pattern. People don't want to hear that they're wrong. They don't want to be exposed.

Almost everything about this game looks great, but it all comes down to how they handle the NX. If they just make a regular fucking controller for once in their life, then maybe they can spend more money manufacturing a decent console and fix the drop-in issue. I dunno anon, it seems like enemies do a good ammount of damage, even then maybe they give you a lot of inventory space in the demo to fuck around but in the actual game you need to upgrade your pouch/bag, and if it still feels too easy you could always challenge yourself by not eating food or not equipping strong armor.

Well you did say it's because they have a free pass, you could at least explain why otherwise there's no logic to it.

It's possible for the game to stand up for it's own merits. The game does use a lot of conventions in other games but it seems like there really well blended, and that's pretty commendable.
>>
all I am seeing from the new Zelda game is that it's very big...and.........................that's it.

I'm sorry guys but I'm not buying into the hype. After seeing what Nintendo had to offer I just....don't see it. I'm seeing every single trope that almost all open world games fall into and none of it is exciting to watch.

Just because something is bigger in scale doesn't make it better.

I mean, call me callous if you want to but I think the cult levels of excitement are just way WAY too biased on this for the sake of it being a new game instead of trying to see if it even brings anything new. Instead, it's just "It's new...........for Zelda" and nobody is even asking if what was brought over was a good thing.

Good technology gameplay wise. The climbing, the boulder interactions, the magnet shit, the fire making wind allowing to propel yourself
All cool ass shit that open world games absolutely forget because they focus on big scale instead of small moment to moment fun gameplay

That said, no fucking anything. Shrines were boring as fuck, and there are alot of vasts landscapes of nothing. I don't expect "BUT THEY ARE ADDING TOWNS" to change alot of these instances. Especially near the canyons. I don't see a reason to do moblin camp #43 or bother fighting Stalfos. All they will do is fuck up your durability.

Game seems good, Great if you have realistic expectations for the system and its limits. Based on its size and exploration and atleast pretty decent puzzle design compared to what most games call puzzles. even on current consoles they would love to have a game like this. Considering the limitations of a system that is basically ps3.5 this game looks amazing from what we have seen, and a surprising amount of gameplay

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like they are giving players the opportunity to play in multiple different ways, making replayability high. There seem to be a lot of potential for self-imposed challenges, and Aonuma even said you could theoretically fight the final boss from the very beginning of the game, though that's not advised.

>>
>>341524680
This game won't impress graphically, and there are some load times to deal with. The removal of hand holding should make some hardcore fans happy. The success of the game rests on breaking the problem most over worlds have which is at some point the distance between locations becomes a headache and most players just teleport to the next location whenever possible.

Exploration was really lacking and linear, you couldn't even go places at night. That's probably the most annoying thing to me at least. They tease the Loftwing headlights that let them fly at night too, you just never get them.

On top of the soundtrack was not memorable, the harp was pretty hard to control, there were a lot of repetitive boss fights - and on top of that they some of the ones that should have been menacing were overly silly (Demise/Tentalus).

Skyward Sword was no doubt a good game, it just failed in a lot of areas Zelda is known for.
>>
>>341522904

>>
>>341528453

>>341533072

>>
>>341532575
No it wouldn't and you know damn well thats a lie. If this was from ubisoft or bethesda it would be called absolute shit and buggy and no one would look twice. If it was from sony people would make up excuses and call it a movie game or say the art style is shit or whatever else. If it was on Xbone they would say why not just play it on PC? And any other console would be called out for the silky smooth FPS. Any other console would and does get called out for the pop in issues just look at the Zero dawn thread doing just that.
Nintendo does get a free pass with a lot of the bullshit that other companies pull but I didn't even bring that up. All I said was that this is getting touted so much because it is nintendo not that the negatives are being ignored because its nintendo.

Looks amazing. Goes above and bottoms what anyone expected. Massive world, teeming with life and enemies and discoverable story and beauty. Absolutely blown away. It's the most open game I've ever seen and it's literally 360 kilometers which is like the perfect sweet spot for me. I can't wait to explore and learn and have fun playing the game, gathering, hunting, exploring, gliding, shield boarding, committing arson, learning the story, solving puzzles, discovering interesting people and towns, finding the weapons and gear I like most, and dicking around. It's everything I want in a Zelda game. I didn't expect Aonuma to deliver honestly. My only complaint is with graphics and performance but I love the art style and the NX version will likely solve that issue. Can't wait to watch the night sky and go meteorite hunting, pic related.

>I haven't watched the trailer or even 1 second of gameplay
>>
>>341533343
I disagree, visuals pop up and performance have been at the fore front of complaints against the game thus far and that's even with nintendo behind the game. In fact people are hammering on those point doubly so because of that fact.

The point I'm trying to make is this. Just because it's been done before doesn't mean it can't be improved upon and outside of the aforementioned issues, A lot of what's being presented may not be innovative in the sense that's it's been done before but what's being shown seems to be pretty well intergrated into the game instead of being an after thought.

Also has anyone managed to find any bugs in the game or managed to crash the demo yet?

I agree. It's too far away for me to get excited for it. It looks amazing, but get back to me a month before it drops. Also, we don't even know what it'll look like on the NX, if Nintendo will find a way to fuck it up as usual or what the NX even looks like. Hopefully it's just a console and not some gimmick bullshit, which it most likely will be.

At any rate, it's too far in the future for me to care at that much.

I think the most telling thing to take away from E3 is that /v/ isn't being swarmed with people memeing all over Nintendo despite them showing up at E3 with literally two games. Says a lot about the the quality of what they were showcasing IMO, according to the narrative pre-E3 we were all supposed to be mourning the death of Nintendo right about now.
>>
>>341522904

Looks great. It feels like they took previous games and actually expanded on them for once, rather than taking one step forward and two steps back like in previous games. They removed the shackles and let the game world speak for itself. The physics are top-notch as well, it's nice that everything isn't restricted/scripted anymore. Being able to fuck around and experiment adds another layer of fun to the game.

The only things I'm concerned about are the towns and dungeons. I understand why they weren't in the demo, but it would have been nice if they had some pre-recorded footage of them at least. I'm sure they'll be in a Direct at some point. In my opinion, dungeons can make or break a Zelda, and my concern is that they'll take a back seat in favor of the exploration (like with Wind Waker). But it seems like they're actually taking time on this game and not rushing it out the door, so we'll see.

Witcher and Far Cry aren't innovative either.

It says a lot to me that the games everyone cries about Breath of the Wild "copying" are ones that already copied from other games. The only exception is Dragon's Dogma, and that's the one game that deserves to be copied.

I agree there are fanatics out there but at the same time the game does have a lot of time to be optimized to address technical issues and that's not even mentioning the NX release.

My point being given that this is a demo there does seem to be enough here to warrant the hype and dissent that's being passed around.

As doubtful as it is I would hope that any company worth there salt would take their time to assess the issues being addressed and work accordingly

Absolutely in love, from what I've seen and played. All they need to do is fix the framerate, show how full-length dungeons will be structured, and show whether bosses will be combat-centric or if they'll follow the "use your dungeon item on them" mantra again.

This can very easily be the best Zelda game ever based on what they've shown. Better than WW and SS, for sure.
>>
There is literally nothing wrong with building on the ideas of others if those ideas are good and well-integrated.

The problem comes when games just copy ideas whole-sale without considering whether those ideas are a good fit or not. There was nothing in the Breath of the Wild footage that I saw that felt like it didn't fit (except maybe the voice acting). All the gameplay mechanics were well-implemented.

Therefore they're guaranteed to get way more hype than they would if the title wasn't attached to the game. If this wasn't a Legend of Zelda game and had a different looking character than Lunk in the game and it wasn't by Nintendo, then it wouldn't have even been shown at E3. Subnautica has more content and looks 100 times better, just reached the Xbox One yet no one gives a fuck about that game. Horizon looks 100 times better in any part of the game than the new Zelda game yet no hype about that. In fact, Horizon looks like what the Legend of Zelda SHOULD be at. But like usual, I'll just wait until the game's release and then hear about how mediocre it is. I was right about Fallout 4, I'll be right about this. When all they can show are gimmicks like crafting or WOAH THE WIND BLOWS YOUR CLOTHES and all the screenshots are desperate attempts to make the game seem better looking by cherry picking locations with a shit ton of bloom and the camera is far away from the textures. Fallout 4 had the same exact display of their game, it's great. Nintendo did say that they enjoyed Skyrim a lot, seems like they are taking after Bethesda after all.

Holy shit, I'm reading through IGN's Skyward Sword review and I can't believe how badly written and hilariously false it is.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2011/11/11/the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword-review

It's basically nothing but hyperbolic statements of "this is the best Zelda game ever", "this is a masterpiece", etc, and is flat-out wrong on a lot of things, like the "near perfect pacing", the controls being perfect, and the story being great. They gave it a 10/10 of course.

It makes me wonder what the inevitable reviews for BotW will be like. Will they be clouded by hype like this and be 10s across the board out of fear of Nintendo fanboys getting mad? I get the feeling that's why IGN went with such glowing praise for Skyward Sword.

Copy-paste argument, and people actually gave really good responses before the old thread died, but I still think this post summarizes my opinion toward the game so far:

I'm open to Nintendo literally making Witcher Jr., and I don't dislike anything they're adding with the crafting, inventory/equipment, etc. I am 100% behind all the new mechanics but I have 4 major issues.

1. It looks 5 years old visually. The washed out visuals look look terrible and I get the feeling it's there to try and detract from the absolute dogshit low res textures on everything. The same few assets are copy-pasted all over the place.

2. The world is empty as fuck, so Nintendo says it was intentional. Even with all NPCs/towns supposedly removed from the demo for "story" reasons, the game still has mad pop-in. I would bet they removed the NPCs and shit because the WiiU can't fucking run it at 30fps with the map full. I'm sure the game will run on NX fine (or I would fucking hope) but it's probably going to run like shit on the WiiToaster

3. Despite all the cool shit they showed off in the open world, the monsters seem to almost all die in 1 hit. The game looks extraordinarily easy in that sense. Maybe these are just early game monsters, but I saw 3 different monster types and they all were made of paper. Additionally, infinite bombs means you can just throw bombs at them and kill everything easily. Tits-chan was doing it near the end of the demo. If it is this easy I will want difficulty options.

4.The puzzles in the shrines were so basic and simple they seemed designed for a young child. Maybe I'm forgetting, but I seem to remember Zelda puzzles being challenging. In the older games they were often almost impossible without a guide to know where to go. This was like "put a bomb on the glowing thing" level of "puzzle" design. I fucking like Zelda because I fucking like dungeon puzzles.

I hope most of these get fixed and am cautiously optimistic.

I have never been a Zelda fan but this looks amazing. Do you think 6 years is all spent on optimization? They had nothing in their engine for a lot of the game. Fallout 4 took a fuckton of years too and it's because they have to heavily modify the engine. Also the visuals of the game look like a PS3/Xbox 360 game halfway through last gen. So much bloom, murky textures, whole patches of grass don't even pop in until you are 30 feet away. You sound like you will defend the game until you die though which is exhibited by the fact that you think those graphics don't look terrible. Or maybe you just have never played any game that is on the Xbone/PC/PS4

You're completely correct, but this is irrelevant. People are damn right to be more hyped for Zelda because Zelda has proven time and time again that they can completely nail this kind of experience in ways that other titles can't touch. When I was on summer break back in the 80's I got the chicken pox. This is not something many of you will be familiar with as they came up with a vaccine a few years later but that is not the point of this. Like I was saying back in the 80's at the age of 6 I had never played a video game before and I had the chicken pox. I was stuck at home and too tired to play outside so my father who worked a lot at the time went out and bought us an NES and LoZ. He even brought home a little strategy guide that looked like a scholastic paperback with black and white pictures and the dungeons were drawn out with ascii characters instead of actual lines. I remember sitting and playing with my father for hours upon hours that week I was stuck inside. it's now been ~30 years, my father is a retired profession drunk that believes everything the TV tells him and I am a father of a wonderful 2 year old daughter. When I saw this game I remembered how much I loved spending time with my dad when he liked spending time with me, and I look at my daughter and wonder could I make good memories for her to remember me years from now? This game made me remember being a child and how wondrous everything is when you never knew what was on the next screen over or the rush of adrenaline when you solve a puzzle. I will probably play this game with her and enjoy it more than her, but maybe when she sits down to think of me she will remember it like I remember my father how he was.

I don't think people realize that.

Like I was talking about BOTW with some friends at work earlier today, and they all said that Horizon Zero Dawn looked so much better and that it blew Zelda out of the water. When I said that we've seen a highly scripted sequence from the latter, as opposed to hours and hours of people simply playing around in a million ways in that minuscule portion of the map in the Zelda demo, they simply called me out on being a nintendo fanboy, even though I only play PC and PS4 and don't even have a wii u yet.

I can't believe people are comparing the overworld to Witcher 3's. I absolutely love the Witcher games, it's in my top 5 game franchises, but honestly, TW3's world was no where NEAR as explorable as what we've seen from the E3 Zelda demo. You can literally go anywhere and do anything.

It's not a (very large, I admit) set of different paths you can undertake like in TW3's world, but an actual huge landscape that you can traverse however you want. The scope of freedom in this game is incredible, and I think the emptiness adds a lot of the feeling of vastness and exploration. From what I've seen from people playing the demo at the floorboard, they were ALWAYS bumping into new shit and finding out secrets and items and enemy camps and just cool places to try out stuff. And that's only 1% of the map, and that's fucking insane.

Frankly I think it looks like a mishmash of a bunch of profoundly mediocre elements from other open world games. The coolest thing I've heard yet is that you can fight the final boss right away, which is neat, but I don't feel neat touches like that offset how uninteresting most of the other mechanics seem. Nothing I've seen yet looks much more inspired or interesting than any other open world nonsense that's come out in the last 7 or 8 years.

I say this as someone who's just fucking sick of open-world survival bullshit, though.

As someone who is too old to justifiable still post on /v/ but does anyway, and has been hyper-critical of the entire Zelda franchise since OoT, what I've seen so far of BotW is the closest thing I've seen to what I think the franchise should have been shooting for all along.

This so far looks like an actual spiritual successor to LoZ with a healthy among of influence from the best parts of the best games in the series. I can see LttP, obviously some OoT. I can see Wind Walker. I can even see some Zelda II in there with the sense of ruinous decay in a declined kingdom (as was true with LoZ as well).

I hope there's at least a LITTLE bit of magic, fairy dust, that sort of stuff, in addition to the Sheikah mecha stuff though. If there's not, I guess that's fine, but I'd like to see some of the traditional elements retained.

Overall, it's hard to find things to complain about--maybe the non-stackable inventory. That's pretty asinine, but everything else looks good so far.

I don't understand this mentality.

Like, yeah, sure, open-world games are a dime a dozen these days

But I can't honestly think of one that has this game's purported level of interactivity, or polish.

A lot of the reason people complain about open-world games is because they're basically empty husks with nothing to do in them. In this game, Literally everything, up to and including the grass under your feet has a purpose and reason for being. You can interact with literally everything you can see in meaningful ways. I can't think of another game that does that. The closest any other open world game comes, that I can think of off the top of my head, is the Just Cause games, and in those cases, it's limited to just putting physics scripts on everything.
>>
>>341540152
I don't know why you're typing like an asshole, but it's confirmed that you can kill fish in the water with bombs, arrows, and spears. No word on actual fishing rods yet but I would guess there probably won't be traditional fishing if you can just kill the fish directly.

Open world games used to work better when every one didn't have to one-up the previous title in terms of world size just for e-peen. This game in particular seems to have an absurdly large world. Of course it would be hard to make it not seem empty when they have that much space to fill. Arkham knight nailed this aspect. The city was big enough to be impressive, and small enough to avoid tediousness, and they gave you multiple fast, fun ways to get around without needing fast travel. I can see stuff like the physics and puzzle dungeons keeping this game fun, but I don't think showing 10+ hours of the empty overworld did it many favors.

I'm 100% behind you on your general feelings of cautious optimism.
If you allow me to be a devil's advocate

>It looks 5 years old visually
It's also running on hardware that was outdated when it was new. WiiU games were never sold on their graphical prowess. Waddayagonnado.

>Empty as fuck/still had mad pop-in
I think "empty" would be a valid complaint if this was literally any other game, where grass is merely a graphical flourish and trees are immutable landmarks. In this game, you can interact with literally everything, and there's secrets everywhere. Also moblin camps literally once every 50 in-game meters or so. Even in the relatively tiny, empty area devoid of humans on the E3 show floor, they still managed to pull out an entertaining 10+ solid hours out of it. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is.
As far as pop-in, it'll probably be an issue, but the game's still nine months out, they're probably going to spend at least six months of that optimizing the FUCK out of it. I'm sure it'll run fine.

>the monsters seem to almost all die in 1 hit.
Well that's just demonstrably false. Even the basic moblins take a good four/five hits, and they're the weakest enemies in the game

>The puzzles in the shrines were so basic
It's still the starting area so of course the starting puzzles will be simple, and the shrines are more glorified tutorial zones than anything. Also the shrines aren't the dungeons, which there will be.

At least 4 million. What were you going for with this?
>>
>>341538056
i feel the exact same way.
what has me reaaaally worried is the difficulty one.
i hope that the bad guys get better and better as the game progresses, or the bosses or something.

and i don`t mean artificial difficulty like they are the same but with infinite healthbars and to 1000X damage per hit, but make agressive and sneaky enemies that require strategy to defeat.

i`m sure they'll deliver incredible dungeons, with a great level of detail.

i can't wait for the reveal of the NX to see where i'm going to play this apparently awesome game.

People still talk about most Zelda games
>>
>>341543180

They sure did, but I was talking about people, even the tribal ones, they weren't so big.

It's not like Incas, Aztecas and Mayans.

But I can tell you, it wasn't that crowded even with everything.
>>
>>341526123
It was confirmed that you can skip all the story and go straight to the final boss if you want.

By your definitiion it makes the game a sandbox.
>>
>>341543541
What about the shallow combat, even the witcher wasn't this bland.
>>
>>341543362
The game is runnidng on hardware weaker than the ps3. Its pretty impressive. Of course gaames today far outclass it I up from a txechnical standpoint but for what its worth I think its serviceable

>The numbers shown above are worldwide consolidated sales

You forgot to include that part, Nintendrone. The game sold like shit in the states.

Probably the best of what we are going to see for a while but the colors are still closer to the e3 teaser.

Also as for enemies dying in one hit, its the starting area of the game and even then weve seen minibosses oneshot an unupgraded link.

I was never wrong. I said the game sold like shit, and I was right.

>How you gonna challenge yourself /v/?

If the game is not challenging I'm simply going to pass. As much as I used to love Zelda, it's gotten far too easy as I've grown older to the point I get bored halfway through the game. With no obstacles it's just going to turn into a walking simulator on a massive scale.

No shit you fucking dumb nigger. The game never broke 2 million sales, which is what I said before.

This game will be no different, aka nobody gives a shit about Zelda games anymore. You're all pathetic. End of story.

E-marketing involving social media is the most inconsistent way of predicting sales and can fuck companies over if they think it can. Literally any other type of media for advertising can find a better correlation. Searching for your product on social media and seeing it get mentioned 750,000 times doesn't mean that 750,000 people are going to be buying your game. Many of those mentions are your own marketers. Many are journalism. Many are the same people posting multiple times. Many are negative. Many are positive. Many are just sharing because it's cool. Many are just sharing because they are bots. Many because they are going to buy. Many because the aren't going to buy. Meek Mill won best rap album of the year despite it being complete garbage because the Billboard awards are based on social media mentions. Do you get my point?

So maybe instead of being a dumbshit 15 year old trying to talk big on a Chinese image board, realize you could potentially be talking to someone who is about to graduate in half a year with a degree in Marketing. Fucking retard.
