its my theory that the ghost girl might be trying to warn the people in the VHS by appearing sometimes and the letter on the wall could lead to more letters on other walls in areas where there is a lightbulb like shes trying to tell you something. everyone has found all the obvious interactable clues but there might be more hidden stuff that people are not thinking about, that the developers could have easily put in and would add a different dynamic to the puzzle solving.

I tried a load of combinations. Went as far as unlocking the door and answering the phone call. Even opened all the drawers, microwave, and fridge having hopes it would change something in the present.
The one thing I didn't do was touch everything that was touchable in one sitting, touch everything in both the tape and present day, or touched everything in any particular order.

It isn't absolute confirmation, but Jesse Cox said he talked to the devs at E3, and they confirmed there's "roughly 4-5" endings that are separate form the main one. So if you call the backdoor the main one, then count the phone messages as 3 different endings, then that leaves 1-2 endings not found yet.
But again, this is assuming the devs aren't putting out the wrong info, accidentally or not; like with what happened to maximillion_dood.

Well, the old man could very well be a scientist who worked for Umbrella and now "The Family". Umbrella produced the Tyrant supersoldier under an aristocratic mansion, it's not far fetched they would create a laboratory under a plantation house, it's a low profile, reserved community.

there are seven boxes labeled with a 7. the only one that clicks is the one above the cabinet holding the VHS. the other six are: in the bolt cutter room on the shelf; under the small table by the oven; next to the wardrobe in the hallway; under the TV; next to the fireplace; and next to the hole behind the wall.
As well, i was playing with the brightness and found that there is a passageway next to the dead dude in the hole but you cant get to it in the VHS and, as of yet, there is no ladder to get down there.

I mean, the demo itself literally is a walking simulator, and doesn't feature any combat like the main game is supposed to have, and the only apparent puzzles (besides whatever possible obscure shit to get the true ending) is really easy. So it's hard to get any real feeling on if the main game itself would be enjoyable.

Original info he got was that ax is useless, finger has a use, and that there was an actual way to beat the demo by not getting knocked and joining the family. But was then later told the "axe/finger" info wasn't "entirely correct" and he couldn't get a clarification on it from them. But it does seem to imply that a true ending is still there.

In the trailer you can see family man carrying the MC and a body over his shoulder. There are also some rooms that don't appear in the actual demo.

I found this earlier, don't know how useful it is but it might have something to do with the "situation" in the attic that the german guy mentioned. You can't hit it or use any items on it but it doesn't take damage either and if you hug the wall and strafe along you dip in near the ring which suggests it might be a hidden wall.

Alright. I think I'm done with the RE7 demo until someone says something from Capcom or someone finds something else. I've spent nearly 24 hours of my life trying everything. Combinations and triggers n all that shit and nothing works. Either there's an answer we haven't found that's so obscure that the game design is just awful, or it's broken, or there's nothing. If there's nothing, Capcom has thoroughly pissed me off. I didn't wanna give up on it, but after hours and hours of nothing, screw it. I appreciate every one of the thousands of people who came in to the stream to try and figure things out. I'm sorry we didn't.

I was streaming earlier and a few watchers pointed out most interactive items have a number. For example, the helicopter picture doesn't have a question mark. Upside down it looks like a two. The most success I've had with getting anything different from the usual.
Get the fuse, vhs world, get lockpick/pick lock, grab key, grab finger, grab axe, put key in 'exit' door but don't open, go upstairs, hit button/drop stairs, answer phone, immediately draw axe and hold with both hands, walk to front door with axe drawn and open front door.
I got 'welcome home'd' whilst nearing the door.
The phone call that ends with 'but will you be ready' makes me think prepping the axe with both hands at least gives you a chance.
