I played the pretty long demo at E3 if anyone has any questions. Jupiter form is strong as hell, expect to spend most of your time in it. Luna form is neat with the teleport kicks and has followup attacks but seems to deal no damage right now, sort of a tool used only to beat certain enemies kind of deal.

IDK, none of Taro's games are exactly best sellers, but they let him keep making Drakenguard and fucking Nier of all things is getting a sequel. In fact, they seem to release a ton of niche titles that will never become money machines.
The director specifically claims that there's a greater variety of missions in 2, so if he lives up to his word, that's enough for me. Presentation seems great in the E3 gameplay.
As for the open world, it looks beautiful, but I hope there are collectibles that give you a reason to explore. The gems in 1 were used to buy upgrades, and by the time Kat was completely leveled up, there were still loads of gems throughout the levels, with no real purpose anymore. The structure of GR supports some collectathoning.

The main issue I had was the gyro activating when I didn't want it do, especially during travel. I think the biggest issue was just a personal one: with the Vita I was fully aware of how I was holding it all times, since you look at the controller, essentially. On PS4 even mild shifting of holding the controller could activate it when I wanted to use the stick for more fine adjustment.
