Can anyone explain to me why people play Overwatch? I didn't hear about it until beta came around and I wanted to see what was all the hype was about. I was only greeted with disappointment, terrible gameplay mechanics, terrible heroes with none of them suiting my play style and terrible maps.
So why is this game so enjoyable for others? I can't seem to get my head around it.

A lot of people are shit at FPS games. Due to the moba elements in Overwatch, especially the ults pretty much anybody can do well. On top of that the people who are quite alright in Quake/CS/TF2 will tear shit up in Overwatch which is also fun for them.

It's basically TF2, but a bit different and TF2 is one of my most played games.

My main choice is somewhere in the mid lines setting up defence, whilst being able to quickly jump into the frontlines easily, someone like Soldier from TF2, but to do that, I need 3 major things: One big gun, one small gun that I can easily switch to, and a pair of fists/knife if using a gun isn't an option.
Because none of the heroes did this, this made the game very hard to choose what hero I can play as. My only choice I was really happy with in the end was that robot, but even with him being my last option, I still couldn't find a decent way to play.
I constantly switched between multiple heroes just to try and find a new play style that can absolutely wreck havoc, unfortunately I couldn't find a hero that did that which made me eventually give up on the game.

SIIIIGH and we widen to reveal why you don't like it. if this is the case, you're not gonna like, but 10 million others, including myself do like it. it's fun, yeah. its got a Disney animation feel, witch most people grew up with so it's familiar, its a TF2 clone, but new so everyone who already likes TF will like this. it's team based instead of 360 no scope lone wolves bragging about how many kills they got rather than how many wins they can achieve working with a team. honestly, trying to explain why it's fun to somehow who knows why he doesn't like it is just, well retarded. stop being retarded and go play something else.
