I'm finally escaping the NEET life and heading off to college this fall, but I'm not sure if I want to take any gaming stuff with me. I fell for the Black Friday meme and bought an Xbone, but played Halo 5 for two weeks then let it collect dust. I already saved up and bought a Surface Pro for art and general schoolwork, but it's garbage for vidya and leaves me with these options:
>Take my Xbone and probably only play Halo Wars 2 and multiplats
>Sell the Xbone, buy a PS4, and probably only play Bloodborne and multiplats
>Sell the Xbone and then use some extra cash to upgrade my PC and take that
I'm a bit skeptical on the PC idea because I would need to delete a lot of torrented shit and porn but I've already got a pretty huge library on it so I would only miss out on exclusives.
Any ideas, /v/?

Laptop or low end PC if you can't afford anything better, emulators = endless games.
Also pick up a PSP, not Vita, PSP, and hack it and put more emulators on that.
I wonder if Demon Souls grandpa ever beat Maneaters, he's on 3-2. I hope he didn't cheese them through the fog-gate.
Do you think he ever got round to playing Bloodborne?

sell xbone buy a ps4 its smaller
You won't have time for vidya unless you're doing arts
Sell ALL your videogames. Take art seriously. Start making art for video games as a well paying career. Become an Art Director. Meet a girl on the way. Marry Her. Buy a House. Have a child. Buy him a console once he's old enough to appreciate it. Play it a little bit when he goes to bed.
That or waste your tuition and live with yer mum.

Nope, ever since going to college and flying all over the country console games have been a drag, not to mention a huge distraction from studies. My poor ps3 has been collecting dust for about two years now, and I haven't bought most of the games I want for it.
Enjoy what time you have left, because college is the beginning of the end for vidya.

Oh, I'm not majoring in art. I'm doing a pre-dentistry track with a major in psychology (because major means fuck-all for postgrad school). If I was an art major I wouldn't be asking what console to take, only how to commit suicide most effectively
