I'm not sure how it's possible, but facial rigging is even more fucked in Fallout 4 than it is in Oblivion, F3 and FNV.
Even then, the gamebryo engine 2.0 isn't going to do the game justice. If NV was to get remade, it would require a new engine that isn't outdated and can support more than 2 enemies on the screen without it blowing up.

There is a dialogue mod called "The Lone Courier" which rewrites a lot of the really poor player dialogue in Fallout 3 so it reflects more so on the Courier character.
There is also reference dialogue if you've met a character/situation with a similar story. For example, you can make note to Arcade and the remnants that you have encountered Enclave forces in DC. There is also some fourth wall jokes thrown in, but there are not that many.

the mod changes the TTW Fallout 3 dialogue so that the Lone Wanderer sounds more like the experienced waster that comes across in New Vegas's dialogue. There's also a few Fallout 2 esque fourth wall breaks that are fun too.

I made a mod which restores NPCs who seemingly disappear from the game once their respective part in a quest/event has finished, even if it just means sending them to an area filled with other people similar to them.
For example, there is a hidden pathway between Nipton and Ranger Station Charlie that is in game, yet is obscured by mountains and invisible walls. I used it as an area to migrate Chevez and some of his rogue Powder Gangers, as otherwise they would just vanish from the game if you tell them to leave.

I never understood this *relative* hate for Lonesome Road besides "BEARANDBULLBEARANDBULL" and Chris Avalonnes edgy self-insert. I always thought of Lonesome Road as a natural conclusion, a viable endgame for the previous dlcs that turned you into a near-immortal cyborg. The atmosphere was amazing (better than the game that shall not be named), the journal logs were fun, the nuke situations.
The game wanted you to figure out why exactly this insane courier was blaming you for the horrors in the divide. Can you blame a man for a crime he was unaware of? Did he just have the wrong courier? Was he crazy? Was it all a meta message about quest markers and directions in videogames?
Tunnelers, loads of Death Claws, THE RED GLARE, the couriers mile, all this made one of the most underrated Fallout dlcs.
Honest Hearts was comfy and fun, but it was obviously rushed, one ending was blatantly worse, Joshua Ghram was neat if not underwhelming, and the Survivalist was the best "unmarked sidequest" in the entire game.

Bethesda seems to think grey morality is two horrible choices, picking two turds, rather than what's right depending on your perspective.
