My favourite is Rose of Sharon Cassidy. She takes out low/mid level enemies pretty damned fast, she's a country girl, she understands the importance of revenge, pretty laid back most of the time, tells it like it is.
She also has my favourite line.

First playthrough on New vegas i had Boone as companion and progressed so much with getting to know his backstory.I thought it would be good idea to take him to blackmountain at low level, so many super mutants with sledgehammers. I killed most but one ended up decapitating Boone because i was careless, walked up to his corpse that had a letter that read as follows.
