Well to recap I think there is a 3rd Mannequinn because it makes no sense in video games to only have 2 things to activate something its almost always 3's
First Dummy spawns in the hallway once you get the Key
Second Dummy spawns if you hit the stairs button on the second floor without putting in the fuse, looking at the table and then heading back to the stairs will spawn it
Both mechanics aren't really obtuse and players might figure it out by just playing the demo normally
So I feel the 3rd one might be doable by doing the shit you would normally do

The Fuse will disappear if you go to the VHS world and come back, so you can only grab it at the beginning of the demo, failing to do so means you cant access to the phone and the attic

Something I know that may or may not have relevance (seriously, it could be meaningless).
The horse painting in the starting room (with the TV) makes a different noise when struck with the axe. This noise is 100 percent completely unique to that painting, it is the only object in the house that makes that noise when you hit it.
I have not found any relevance to this, nor have I been able to determine if it does anything. However, the fact remains it is unique and unique things often ARE relevant.

I disagree, I think series can change. What the problem is IMO is that suddenly something does well and that has to be emulated constantly. As far as I'm concerned both directions are great, which means that both directions can have games at the same time. I just beat re6 and it was pretty fun, gonna play RE revelations 2 now, but I only have episode 1. Is it long/short? Are the other episodes worth it? I think this means the game will use the same mechanics found in demo, but will ultimatley not play like PT. Resident Evil always had an action element, much more than most of it's contemporaries like the original Silent Hill games.
By removing it completely and turning it into an interactive theme park haunted house, they're going just as full retard as 4-6 did by going full action but on the opposite end of the spectrum.
And at least those games were fun and challenging from a gameplay/mechanical perspective, even if they lacked the tense atmosphere and good level design that made original Resident Evil so great. Nu-Resident Evil has nothing to offer in that respect.

If you don't see the basic game design differences between Resident Evil 4 and it's predecessors, than this argument clearly isn't worth having.
Resident Evil evolved from a game about trying to survive while exploring and solving puzzles in a labyrinthine maze to a chapter based "go to area, kill x amount of enemies, unlock next area" game with a large focus on building up an arsenal of weapons/other upgrades to make yourself a more effective killing machine. Resident Evil 4 made it mandatory for you to go in guns blazing and mow down everything in your path at a lightning fast pace (which is great for an action game), where as Original Resident Evil was slow and methodical and didn't require you to kill a single enemy outside of a few bosses to progress.
The level design, enemy design, the combat mechanics, player objectives, pretty much EVERYTHING was radically different than what came before.
They're both good in their own ways, but come on man don't be dense.

The graphics haven't aged well but the thing came out in 2005, and believe me when I say it looked fucking unbelievable at the time.
Music and audio is incredibly well done, memorable and fitting songs, great sound design, actually good voice acting.
Gameplay is pitch perfect. fantastic shooting, loads of memorable levels and situations, different weapons and different upgrades and costumes add a great deal of replay value. Exploration while not as big as other games is still rewarded with money, treasures, and
weapons. Every once in a while there's a puzzle or two and those are good as well.

But it can be done, and more often than not it was benificial to run by enemies to save ammo than it was mowing down every enemy in your path. ESPECIALLY in REmake because of the Crimson Heads, basically punishing you for carelessly taking down enemies without having the supplies to dispose of the bodies.
Hell, several bosses encounters can be beaten simply by running away and leaving the room.

So the objective of the demo is to "leave the house" or whatever it says as you begin to play.
Surely you need to find a way to get rid of Dad and not let him invite you to the family but also leave the house.
Also the finger has to have some use to it, they wouldn't put an item in a short demo without a use or need for it unless they SPECIFICALLY wanted to fuck with the player.
