Really? No thread on this? I'm surprised. I was pretty interested in Scalebound upon its initial announcement and released details, but the gameplay shown during Microsoft's conference hurt my soul. I know it's co-op and all but it looked like fucking shit and the protagonist is literally retarded. Am I alone in this?

Same here. TW101 is my favorte game of all time. Bayo, VJ and DmC are games I am very glad I played.
But this looks bland as fuck. The multiplayer aspect really seems to take away the awesome feelingfeeling I'm sure he knows how to convey of taking down a huge boss.

Underwhelmed but still optimistic. The stuff they showed last year was better desu. I hate this focus they seem to have with online co-op, and they definitely need to show more of the actual campaign stuff. Also I think the delay and slow progress with the game is because MS probably decided they wanted it on the PC as well, so now they're essentially making two versions of the game.
The pacing is way too slow for a typical Platinum/Kamiya game, it's almost like a DMC2 in the making.

I felt as if they chose the most boring player and had the game on the easiest setting. They had one guy fucking shit up getting in close and the player sat there with a bow and jerked himself off for the entire duration.

>CRABHonestly, if other enemy designs are better, Scalebound could be a neat game. It looks like a mix between Lost Planet 2, Drakan 2 and DMC. I'm kinda excited and Kamiya hasn't let me down yet so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
As a Kamiya dick-sucker, I can't see anything exciting about the gameplay. I still have faith that it'll at least be "fun", but that shit sure wasn't convincing me.
