I played it for 100 hours and completed the bonus dungeon twice, then sold the game because I never wanted to touch it again

Really fun at the start, but then you realize how easy and repetitive it actually is and you start hating it, the only thing that was fun to do by the end was the whole factory crafting stuff, I spent the last 3 hours just praying that it would just fucking end already.
Dark Cloud 2 was way better than this shit.

Same. It's been in my backlog for literally, years.
I remember really liking it as a teen, I got the demo from a magazine back when Sony was pushing this game super hard. I ended up buying it on day one and played the shit out of it for weeks. It was one of the only times in my life that I ever faked being sick so I could stay home an extra day to play it more.
Here we are, ten years later, and I bought it again on PS4.

I just got to the part where you first meet Seed and then go off on your big adventure to collect all the key pieces, and I put it down for a while. I'm in that temple where you fight the witch, and I can't deal with her stomping my ass into the pavement in only like two hits when the entire rest of the dungeon has been an absolute joke.

Bought it on PS4 sale not too long ago.
No Widescreen mode, when other PS2 games support it.
Game's okay, but I quit it right away.
Only got as far as the jungle planet.
I drop it every time you get to Vedan.
Fuck the Barrier mechanic. It's so tedious.
