Pixy did everything wrong. He was a goddamn retard.
You were on the cusp of winning the war and Pixy sees some civvies suffering and despite that this shit having been going on the entire time he suddenly decides that it's a horrible war that he can't deal with and he defects, which turns the tide of the war, stopping you from putting an end to it, and drags it out, creating more and more casualties. This leads up to his master plan to stop the war and end innocent suffering by nuking the shit out of everyone until there's nothing left.
Pixy is one of the worst written characters in the entire franchise and people only give a shit about him because of his stupid catchphrase.
