Made it more dramatic. Kenny was essentially a loose cannon. He was getting "crazier" by the hour. He can now be with Duck and his wife.
He essentially died when his new GF did. He was The Walking Dead. It only seemed right to put him out his misery.
But Clem being a little girl, she now felt safer etc with that new chick (even if she was shady from a player perspective). From Clems perspective and a dramatic story perspective, it seemed right for Clem to end it.

It should've been an entirely new cast in season two. Maybe a small cameo, like larry's daughter if she was left behind. Clementine has gotten some good character development, but i really wish it had just left off at season 1.
