I have played it before, when it was new. It was my older brother's copy though and is the only mainline Zelda I don't own. Only reason I'm not more arsed is because it's also far from a favorite of mine, hence waiting for a sale.

The Gamecube version has a lot of framerate drops and occasionally freezes. You're better off with the 3DS version or the Virtual Console version.
