In the second it got a lot sillier but was still within the realm of realism. Weapon combos were just strapping shit together.
Weapons in the third game just went full retarded. One was literally a flame thrower shaped like a dick.
This new one looks like it has fucking magically enchanted weapons, power suits, some kind of zombie launcher and more.
It's the same thing that happened to Saints Row.
