Apparently these are the changes made to McCree and Widowmaker

Alternate fire
Damage decrease from 70 to 45
Time before reloading decrease from 0.75 seconds to 0.3

Overall still gives more opportunity for a healer or yourself to be able to react being that full body shot is 450->270 if this is true.
Also glad to see widow can no longer OHKO people with body shots+fixing the bug where you can always have 100% charge if you're constantly sighting&unsighting.
Also made it hard as piss to sneak up to someone doing that since they aren't scoped that long normally.

Completely missed Widowmaker Nerf.
She needs HP reduction and Grapple Nerf. 120 Dmg Bodyshot is still too high. Her Ulti is still broken as fuck. It takes literally 1 shot more to charge now.
And the most importantly - her Assault Mode wasn't nerfed so Genji can still suck it.

most of /v/ thinks shes op because they play solo queue where everyone pushes the choke 1 by 1 with no rienhart.
even in my lvl 50-100 groups ive seen god tier widowmakers on enemy team the majority of the time we win. The problem is that people dont switch as she is only good for defending certain points

Symettra's turrets are useless against decent players who shoot them at first sight, they become a minor annoyance compared to the area of denial asspain to newbies and mediocre players.
The best tactic I find is to use all six turrets on an out of the way path flankers will likely use, and camp nearby to finish off anyone who tries to sneak by.

She's more a sniper, turret, and tele hunter+live forever payload holder.
They didn't nerf Widowmaker enough and as it stands there's still no reason to not have her hitscanning 1 shotting ass in every match (assuming whoever's playing her isn't garbage). Why do they insist on compensating such an overpowered character with buffs when they make adjustments? At the very least they should have also nerfed charging speed and/or her health to 150.

I think the nerf was because she was miles better than Hanzo in a sniper role, Hanzo required you to be skillful with the bow, Widow you can shoot surprisingly fast with the sniper, way faster than fully charged bow.

He won't actually, all tanks except roadhog have armor. Which reduces damage taken by half up to a maximum of 5 per hit.
So only if McCree hits all his shots with fan + roll + fan (which is practically impossible with the huge spread) he does 540 damage which will be mitigated to <500 for most Tanks because of their armor.

He could dish out 840 damage within 2 seconds, all while stunning you at the start.
The nerf didn't do anything to him in regards to killing half the cast easily.
He's still a great offense character, his ultimate auto locks on to his whole FOV and you can cancel it to save 50% ulti meter, or if you're killed during it you keep 50% as well.
He's not underpowered whatsoever.

The intent is to make her go have to go for headshots, but i don't think that really makes a difference,
I think #1 they should rework her ult to only work for her, and she has passive squadsight that gives vision to allies if she has direct vision of an enemy. This would at least give players a reason to use hanzo as a more consistent spotter over her. In terms of damage she really shouldn't be able to kill anyone except Tracer and Zen without a fully charged headshot.

Snipers are anti-fun in every single PvP game they've ever been in since the dawn of time.
The sheer polarized nature of the class/weapon means that there are no interesting confrontations to be had. They either kill you from a position that you literally cannot retaliate from, or you kill them effortlessly from close range.
The only justifiable reason for their existence is as a counterbalance to broken short-range classes or leash-comps (i.e., tank + pocket healer).

Hanzo is almost never picked in comp because Widowmaker is so much better at his job even before we talk about having a trap that warns you of an enemy coming down the often single path that most of the flankers in the game must take to get to her, and an instant escape ability WITH a jump bug to increase its movement range.
Hanzo is not going to be picked in comp just because they can't go in and out of scope over and over for no good reason.

Nobody in OW requires very much skill, but hanzo at longer ranges at least has to account for travel time unlike widow. He also has a way worse mobility mechanic and no venom mine to let him know if someones flanking him

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? When you consider he'll have to blow 8-12 seconds worth of cooldowns (positioning and re-positioning accounted for) it seems like quite a blow. However, i'll certainly agree with the idea that tanks ahould be a prolonged HVT kill over being just another wacky thing to shoot. I think this will certainly.make Reaper more appealing with his...4-5 shot kill time on full health Hogs.

The overwatch snipers should be built around spotting. Make it so Widow can't really oneshot anyone and allies can see enemy health by the color of their outline. That way the snipers job is actually to soften people and let teammates know of their position and status, so a tracer or genji can finish them off.

That's the problem with his whole design and why I said maybe look into a rework. Everything he has is built around transforming into a turret and sitting in one spot shitting out damage. Bastion right now is great for a single life if you can take the enemy by surprise but once they know there is a Bastion on the other team everyone will immediately stop running around corners and unload the second they see him set up somewhere.
