That explains why the controls are dumbed down from this 20 year old game.
It only made it harder though in reality, not a single death in 3D World felt like it was my own fault.
Also, for people claiming Splatoon is good, while I haven't played it myself (own it though) it's literally a shooting game on a console. And it's generally more slower-paced than tf2. Which is the casual-staple to compare everything to. It's also patronizing its userbase with no voice chat and an abysmal map rotation system.
