Sony, but since MS exclusives are making a habit of going multiplat I'm moderately interested in Scalebound...if it's good anywho, and optimized we for PC. Also, Spiderman looks cool, and that might make it to PC since it's 3rd party, and since Spiderman always goes on everything even with Sony's film division having stake on it. Kojima's game is hard to speak on, considering all we got was a trailer. Nontheless, people are going to scope every detail on it. Gears looks fun, and I'd go for a definitive PC version, one again, if MS gets their heads out their asses and optimizes it, since Quantum Break turned out so ich.

Microsoft won for me, they showed games i will actually be playing relatively soon. Forza Horizon 3, Dead Rising 4 and Gears of War 4. Also, Sea of Thieves looks legitimately interesting.
Days Gone and God of War are getting on the TLOU bandwagon, Horizons MC annoyed me 30 secons into the demo, trying to be the female Nathan Drake by commenting on everything and talking to herself, also the whole thing just looks like Far Cry, which I had enough of. Kojimas game was just a teaser for something that will come out in 3-4 years, I doubt even he knows the gameplay yet. Last Guardian looks awful.
Tbh I think I even liked Ubisofts games more than what was shown at Sony, Watch Dogs 2 looks like it could be a huge step above the first game, the snow sports game looked comfy and For Honor is amazing.

This console gen was gimped out of the gate: 3-5 year old hardware before they were ever released. I predict that the PS4 is going to take the 360's old slot: the lowest common denominator of development.
Meanwhile, developing for Xbone or Scorpio is EXACTLY like developing for PC, which encourages developers to develop towards one of those products instead of Sony.

Microsoft: solid showing of all the games I wanted. Gears 4, Recore, Forza, Sea of Thieves, Scalebound and Halo Wars 2 all looked like solid offerings. The community update didn't look to bad either. That one indie game which had that bioshock style look pretty good too. Overall 9/10.
Sony: Started off with a good game but it gradually got worse and worse. Horizon looks good graphically but since it's guerilla games they always make nice looking games that ultimately lack any substance, so I'm not expecting anything good. We finally have a date for the last guardian which is a plus. The zombie game looked really underwhelming and the cyber cop cinematic game looks like a hit and miss. All the vr stuff was utter trash as it's not even affordable on all platforms but when it is I'll pick up a copy of resident evil vr on pc. Crash remastered sounds good but we saw no gameplay. Fuck all that call of duty, slylanders and lego star wars shit. I'm not a big fan of marvel games and I don't even play the arkham series so the spiderman game doesn't really interest me. The kojima trailer looked good but we all know it's not out for like another 3 years at least and I'll probably pick it up on pc too. I was dissapointed not to see any Shenmue, P5, Nioh or any PS NEO announcement. Overall 6/10.
In terms of games I'm currently interested in 7 Microsoft titles and 2/3 sony titles based on the conferences.
Both had solid conferences, but Sony had the best in terms of new game announcements. Pretty much everything MS showed has been previously announced or leaked.

The point is that this lowers the cost of multiplats for developers. It's cheaper to develop to Windows and Xbox - which are the same thing these days. This means moar games for everyone.

These are the first major wave of titles to hit windows store. There's about 10 games that will come to to the windows store and that's over double the amount that are in the store currently. Microsoft are brute forcing themselves onto the pc gaming space and it looks to be a winner. The hype levels for games like scalebound, gears and forza are through the roof. Casuals are loving it all.
Concerning the console, it all starts over again next year. Microsoft have the opportunity to start fresh with scorpio vs neo and it's looking good for them so far. The ps4 was the most powerful console and won, now Microsoft are looking to emulate the popularity of the xbox 360 again with the xbox scorpio. We finally have the true successor to the beauty that was the xbox 360. Deny it all you want but I'm right and you know it.
There is literally no reason to buy an xbone anymore much less the Scorpio. You can buy a dedicated windows 10 machine for less than the Scorpio which will be $600-800 minimum. Microsoft killed off their own console
Microsoft. They're making an effort to give their audience more freedom to access their games with. This is a step in a direction that is good for consumers.

I wanted to use this E3 to determine if I buy an Xbone or a PS4 as supplement to my PC. PS4 had a slight advance due to P5(played 3&4 on emulator and loved them) and Bloodborne, which seems to be one of the best Soulstype games out there. After the shitshow that was MS' presentation, getting a PS4 is a no brainer for me. There wasn't a single game at Ms' show that people actually wanted to see.

Yet Microsoft has never actually succeeded in the console business, not once. They stepped out of Sony's shadow last generation by chance, in fact a large part of their initial success was based on Sony screwing up yet Sony caught up and since the PS4 Microsoft instantly went down 20 to 30 million users. Microsoft even revealed their true colors and were perfectly ready to cage their fans like dogs only to have a fraction of them return a year later to suckle on the teet that was ready to fuck them a year ago.
Look at this picture for example to see just how outclassed Microsoft is in terms of game development, this picture alone proves how new/underage Xbox fans are. You only think the PS4 won in terms of a single resolution difference because you think Microsoft has a chance with Scorpio because apparently casuals care about performance now yet if they did they'd be gaming on PC.
You're probably hyped about the next spec war but I'm not, console stability is far more important for the industry than a dick measuring contest drawn out of Microsoft's desperation, nonetheless, at least you've come to admit and realize one thing that the Scorpio will have competition being the NEO but Playstation is a stronger brand with more value and will always have the better games than Xbox if only even on the basis of pure variety across it's genres, fuck Microsoft games.

I'm interested in both Scalebound and Sea of Thieves, but both those demos were..bad.
Meanwhile Sony was just no nonsense great title after title. Last Guardian, Death Stranding, RE7, FUCKING SPIDER-MAN and Horizon. Did not like the look of new God of War, at all. And that FFXV VR demo was embarrassing, but overall they had the best show.
I think Microsoft's new gaming strategy is great though, nice slim and Scorpio and W10 support is great. Didn't make for much of a show though.
