I hope Tekken does well but it seems like 3d fighters are dead for the most part. Dead or Alive, Virtua Fighter, and even Soul Calibur don't really move the needle sales wise anymore, and I doubt Tekken is going to be much different. The game looks cool but it's probably going to be dead outside of its obligatory niche very quickly, which is a shame.

the only thing i don't understand about Tekken is what makes "not true" combos, combo or not? like against a training dummy you can do a 10-hit combo string and it all links, but against an opponent they can just duck in the middle and it doesn't combo.

T6 is a little redundant I guess unless you really care about story, since TTT2 is basically T6 but better, and SCV is a good game on it's own but doesn't have anything to do with Tekken, so if you only care about Tekken just get TTT2 unless the compilation is somehow cheaper.

i think there's sort of custom "10-hit combos(tm)" too, isn't there? not listed in the command list but work basically the same way, some strings flow into others. Asuka has a lot after 1+4 / 11 that are basically her db4443 / 11 / 1+4,1214443 / 3+4 moves as a long string.

I've only played the free-to-play tekken game. The unstoppable juggles only appeared a few times, probably because you main players were off enjoying tekkentagteam or something.
