Someone is getting fired. Everything about this presentation is awful from the way it is played to even the voice acting.
Even if they got it right, it's a gigantic boss so it's automatically one of the worst bosses in the game.

The game looks pretty crap, but he made it look the worst it has ever looked, and anyone with any sense would know that using the first few minutes of a gigantic set piece boss as your ultimate E3 showcase is a poor decision. They would have been better served by a fight against a swarm of enemies and then a little miniboss.

The reason giant bosses suck in action games is that the game isn't designed around them. In a turn based game there's no difference between a big enemy and a small enemy, at least inherently. You can split the big enemy into multiple parts and change up the strategy if you aren't a shit dev though.

Imagine the action based game using XV’s already weak combat, and add salt to it by having a guy on stage doing nothing except for being hit and then suddenly winning it. There. I think it's more about the guy did actually nothing, and suddenly won it for no good reason. I'll be watching the 30 minute livestream in the next 2 days, but I'll doubt it will change minds.
