I guess I'll just FYI this as a PSA as most don't seem to know this.
When you reach level 101 you reset back to level 1 but with an addition to your icon border (first one being a single star, then two then three then more elaborate stuff, then it becomes silver etc....)
But the best part is that the exp needed to level resets too. So you can get those first 22 levels their loot boxes in no time at all (experience needed to level caps at 23)

Yes and no, Torb's turret is garbage if your team can't hold their own around the turret. It's horribly more squishy than Engi's turret for goddamn sure.
However, he plays a bit better than Engi as far as Gunslingers go. Turret is only held back by it's short CD as there's no metal/scrap requirement on it, and Torb doesn't have to swap between pistol or shotty, it's a simple matter of left click or right click.
Overall he plays more like a Gunslinger than anything, but can double as a vanilla wrench Engineer when the need arises/he's able to. He's a bit more flexible on the fly like that.
Though I do wish Armor Packs only took 25 scrap, but gave half the amount as they do now, but let them stack up to two times or something. It's stupid requiring 50 fucking scrap for a pack and you can't even fucking walk into a lot of areas purely because of how dangerous it is to.

God, this kills me. I've actually gotten pretty damn good with Reinhardt (often nab the gold medal for kills and damage even when focusing on tanking) but it seems nobody knows how to work with me. Nope. I play somewhere around 2-3 hours a day with nearly a full team of internet pals every day since release. While I hope they rebalance some heroes it's the most fun I've had playing a multiplayer shooter for a good long while.
Got level 41 or 42 this evening and had 3 legendary skins so far. Got anime robit Pharah, black Evel Kineval Soldier, and Beduin Genji. Also something like 50 gold away from being able to buy one. not sure what I'll get yet, I play everything so I'm not overly attached to any of the classes. Maybe angry samoan Roadhog.
nope, over 120 hours in. Was thinking about stopping for a while but then I started playing a lot more genji, torbjorn, zenyatta, zarya, symmetra and WINston. Its amazing that just trying new heroes makes it feel like a completely new game.

2/3 D.va rush works suprisingly well on Volskaya/Anubis attack.
Won games in 3 minutes, the key is to not let them build up, or you're gonna have a shitty time.
Her ult also works very well in clearing out the cap area, or the turrets at least. More time the enemy is off the point = more time for you to cap.
I prefer playing her on Attack, Defense seems kinda eh for some reason.

Mercy: Nearly direct 1:1 mirror of the Medic from TF2. Biggest difference being she cannot give an overheal, so don't bother healing a capped target most of the time. Ult is good for countering team-wipe ultimates.
Lucio: A bard that switches between light AoE healing song and a speed boost song, and both are amplified for a bit by one of his abilities, making his heal as potent as Mercy's, but will heal multiples instead. Ultimate is good for making huge pushes and mitigating some damage from team-wide damaging ults.
Symmetra: Not a healer, but a secondary back-up Support wherein she supports by bringing a Teleporter to the team, and granting everyone an extra 25 health that regens after not taking damage for X amount of seconds. Her turrets aren't meant to lockdown an area but moreso add support fire and slow/deter flankers from entering certain parts of the map.
Zenyatta: Is a weird one. His heal is a HoT (Heal over time) and can only be put on one person at a time. Supports by dancing his ball around on people, and debuffing enemies so they take 50% more damage. Ultimate is good for mitigating team-wide ultimates that don't insta-kill, or healing your team all at once if multiples are low and you don't think youi'll have the time to dance your ball around and heal everyone up one by one. He's meant to be Offensive whilst debuffing/HoTing people, but is very fragile. So you basically play like a surveyor of the battlefield, watching over everybody as you stand back and support/debuff and shoot at people from afar.

Biggest problem with Overwatch is just the lack of content. There's like, what, 3 game modes? The maps kind of blended together to me, as well.
If it were like a $20 game that'd be fine. And I'm sure a year or two down the line it'll have better stuff.
That was one thing TF2/CSGO/etc did so well. Custom maps and servers extended the games' life a ton. I've got like 2k hours in TF2 and most of that is from player-made content.

I'm level 8 and the last three matches I played were all with against enemy teams with players that were levels 30+. My team had me and people around my level with a few people on the same tier as the enemy team. We were absolutely demolished.
So, I'm bored when shit like that happens because I can barely stay alive long enough to get to know how different characters work.
Conversely if I'm playing with people around my level they'll do things like run around the level aimlessly, or specifically run away from the payload to fight the enemy team at their spawn, or play Bastion while attacking on payload maps.
It's all over the place and I really only enjoy playing when it's with friends.

All the point Bs need to be more balanced is a longer trek back to the objective for the defenders. For me personally the novelty of bringing the abilities and the character counter-pick strategizing of ASSFAGGOTS to a fps has definitely worn off, but I'm still having fun for now.
On the whole I suppose blizzard didn't do too bad with the game balance, but there's still some tweaks it is in need of. Anybody coming into this game from TF2 knew that blizzard shat the bed with widomaker in terms of balance, so her getting nerfed is no surprise (I personally think she should get a secondary weapon instead of having her sniper double as one. I mean, blizzard is already copying so many things from TF2, why not copy everything you possibly can? especially considering TF2 has been getting balance patches for over 7 years now meaning these balance problems blizzard is havng were worked out ages ago in tf2; learn from others' mistakes blizzard.).
At first I was skeptical that mccree needed a nerf since I didn't play him very much and he never proved too much of a hassle, but I've rolled him a few times in the random mode and after being able to kill a reinhardt at full health (or near full anyway) with a single right click I was convinced; NO hero should be able to tear through ANY tank that easy.
I might be alone here but I also feel junkrat is slightly too annoying to deal with. I feel blizz made the exact same mistake valve did with the demoman and junkrat needs a slight nerf. Something like the same clip size as the demoman, a slight damage reduction, or a slight decrease in the fire rate. A junkrat the can aim will just SHRED through any team's back line and can potentialy take out half the team before even having to reload.
The weekly brawl is cool, though not really a substitute for community servers I feel. Looking forward to the cowboys and indians week though.

I believe Mccree needs a nerf, but that should be in cooldowns on skills, not the actual dmg output. Mccree is the anti-tank, and the counter to the annoying situation when your enemy team rolls 4 tanks and two are reins.

Yeah, no. Widowmaker is the safest sniper in any video game ever. She has multiple tools to detect or escape flankers, and even if they manage to catch her, she has a fucking stupid hitbox and far too much close-range damage.
She one- or two-shots every single character on the roster with a ridiculous attack speed.
She's completely out of line and it's a miracle that they actually BUFFED her during the closed beta.

I'm pretty good sniper in TF2 and Widowmaker is like playing sniper with the Mann vs Machine upgrades. That rifle charges and shoots so fast that if you couple with a 50% accuracy I understand why people would be mad.

Toblerone is garbage on pc. Too many chars make short work of his turret even when he is repairing. While it has aimbot and retard range it only has 56 dps, less than anyone (except harambe).

I'm level 90 and I get paired with people 20-40 levels lower than me. I used to get paired with players that are higher level but I tilted and lost 5 games in a row so my MMR is probably in the dumpster by now.
