Spiderman 2 had swinging based on physics -- you had to actually attach your webbing to a building, where you attached the webbing affected how you swing (attaching to a building on your right would swing you in a bit of a curve to your right,) and you could perform cool moves like slingshotting between buildings, etc.
In short, it's not something you can really convey in a video. It FELT like you were actually swinging in a city.

Honestly, and I hate to say this, but I just want them to follow Arkham Knight's formula for a lot of this. Have an expansive gallery where you can view and select costumes, have reaction-based combat, have a massive open city where traversal is achieved using physics based webslinging, a set of main story quests which slowly unlock radiant quests around the city, etc.
But mostly, all those fucking delicious costumes. Spidey has probably one of the best collections of costumes in the entire comic pantheon. I also don't want any "stats" tied to any outfits -- I wanna be able to pick an outfit because it looks cool and nothing more.
