Dead Rising 4 was the only thing i liked today. I'm still looking forward to the treehouse stream and the P5 stream.
i keep waiting for cringe to happen or an actual good announcement to happen and it rarely does

I was told that missing the first day of E3 didn't matter this year since it was literally nothing
So far I didn't care about Microsoft and Sony was honestly boring. The only thing that got me hype was Crash Bandicoot, but that was instantly tainted by being remasters and then Skylanders of all things.
I know I'll be hype for Nintendo at some point
If you're the type that tries to look on the bright side they actually have something entertaining in some way. I'm just so fucking bored watching this shit and I stayed to see if they had anything, but none of it interested me much except Crash.

It's depressed me. I have held on to the last little enjoyment of video games I had left, but this is beginning to make it feel like video games are dying. I mean I know it's not true, but they're definitely not the same anymore. Probably the last e3 I'll be excited for.

Last years was better and a contender for best one yet, but this one was one of the better ones.

Same here. The games look great but that's about it. There's just not enough novelty in mechanics anymore. It's all been done and said so it's just same shit different game and skin.

I remember when I used to at the very least get excited for the shitposting and reactions from /v/ while watching with /v/.
Now I can't muster up even that much enthusiasm.

EA was the regular shit which I don't really care about
Bethesda was a 7/10
the Microsoft show was okay, 8/10 and I'm pretty happy about the new Forza Horizon
Ubisoft wasn't as cringy as the other years, Steep looked cool, the bird game looked interesting, don't care much for medieval stuff, but people looked interested in For Honor, 7.5/10
PC Show sucked, but I didn't expect much since the bigger third parties already have their shows or showed their muliplat on Sony's or Microsoft's shows, 4/10
Sony was the best. All games, no TV bullshit, no sports, only few breaks from games, Kojima presented his ps4 exclusive game, the new spiderman game looks promising (I hope it's more like the Spiderman 2 PS2 game), Days Gone looked alright, Last Guardian finally has a release date, the new God of War looks different, Horizon Zero Dawn looks good, 9/10

A couple titles Im going to keep an eye on for sure. More then I thought there would be that captured my interest. Titanfall 2 actually looks pretty cool, but I'll wait to see it in action before I touch an EA product with a 10 foot pole
That said there is a whole lot that either looks dumb as shit (see CoD: Totally not Halo; We dont know how Zero G works edition) or that I just cant muster the effort to care about.

This year's E3 was a monument to every cancer plaguing modern gaming. Lots of shallow, "cinematic" games. Lots of focus tested garbage.
I'm sure there are gems that weren't on the main stage, but so far it was all very underwhelming.
The problem with E3 this year is that the majority is shit we already know about

In terms of NEW, I guess Dead Rising4, that game about taking joy pills, Quake, God of war 4, and Kojima's new game were pretty neat
That being said
I'm not going to lie, i was hyped for seeing more of the games that interested me before
Specifically, Sea of Theives and Dishonored 2
Recore turning out to be an Action/Platformer surprised me and made me like it more
Also For Honor actually looks appealing compared to last year
Seeing more of Battlefield 1 was ok as is Infinite warfare despite the backlash
And Tommorrow we are going to see Zelda U fully revealed in all it's glory so there's that
Nothing spectacular, but i was satisfied with seeing updates to the games I was looking forward to
I knew it would be shit what pisses me off is people saying "BRAND™ won" when its clear they were all mediocre re-heated microwave garbage, nothing stands out as actually interesting
this year goty will be Deus Ex Mankind Divided and the rest is all garbage.

Nintendo isn't dying, idiots have been saying seriously since the N64 and to an extent since SNES vs Genesis.
Nintendo just operates differently from other companies. They're very backwards, but they run pretty cost efficiently, to the point where they have a big enough reserve to sustain pretty much an entire generation of total failure. If the theme park they open is successful it pretty much guarantees they will never die.
If Nintendo goes down it's going to be because of bad business practices in general and stagnation in the gaming industry. Nearly everything is a rehash or price gouging DLC adventure. No one is really innovating or taking risks, it's all about a nice presentation to cash in on casual/semi-casual gamers and move on.
