I didn't even like the god of war, but come the fuck on. They showed trailer after trailer. Compare this year to last year, jesus christ last year was a solid F.
They got knocked huge points for how much time they spent with VR and that heart wrenching Crash shit.
Meh, it looks like way too many basic interactions carry some kind of heavy scripting/long animations. This looks really good in a gameplay demo, but gets grading quick when actually playing.

I hope it has a lot of different enemies, it seems like learning how to fight the enemies is going to be the main draw. The weapon wheel was already pretty much filled out so there doesn't seem like there will be much variety there.

I just got a farcry primal but with tech vibe from it, nothing from it was particularity great looking and that was in closed demo environment.
Kinda disappointed how it turned out to be honest.
Last year's footage focused on how to beat enemies strategically.
Now it's just spam arrow and dodge.

Not cutscene/NPC interaction type stuff, that was fine. But the MC constantly talks during gameplay abut every little thing:

> "They're tough but they've got weak spots"
> "I'll never make it to the villiage in time, luckily there are some mounts over here"
Hopefully its just for the demo so the audiance would no what was going on, and its no where near as frequent in the actual game, but its worrying to say the least.
