Robobot was a lot better than I thought it would be, pretty much every level felt different.It was rad m8, fighting that asshole face again satisfied me so much.
It was pretty good. Disappointed in a few aspects but it was great otherwise.

Robobot was great.The final boss was hype too.Holy shit. Fighting Star Dream Soul OS is unnerving as fuck tho, especially the core. Everytime you smash one of the pillars, if you listen carefully, you can hear something that sounds like Maxx Proffit yelling. And then, after you smash them all and check the bio, it says that all of Max's soul has been purged. T-that wasn't Kirby's fault right? That would be dark as fuck.

Also, does anyone else want the option to choose to directly refight the soul bosses after you beat them for the first? They're always the best fights and it gets annoying going through The True Arena every time.

What irked me was that they didn't include a little tribute to Iwata. He was important in HAL's beginning, and Kirby was his and Sakurai's most important franchise.Instead they put the tribute to Star Fox Zero.

Lets do something different, which HAL games did you play or have played before? I started playing Arcana a while ago when they referenced it in Kirby's Quest. It's an ok game, but it can be hard as balls as well. The backtracking sucks when you have to back to town to heal, but the music is great with Jun Ishikawa composing the soundtrack.

Finished True Arena earlier today on my second attempt with amiibo. I used amiibo on my first attempt, but ended up losing to Star Dreams third phase. If you're planning on using amiibo for a run, just know these things:
-You can't scan the same amiibo more than once per attempt at either Arena
-Only ten scannings can be done per attempt
-All amiibo heal. Smash, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing series amiibo give cherries, Smash series Kirby, MK, and Dedede give Pep Brews, and Kirby series amiibo give Maxim Tomatoes.
That said, amiibo are NOT healing items. Only use them when you're low on health, without an ability or with an undesired one, and without an assist star.
Final Time: 36:36.40, ended with full health.

I can see the mini games getting expansions, seemed to go over well for TD's mini games.
I wouldn't expect the main game to be touched in any way though, HAL just likes to make whole, singular experiences. Levels and worlds and bosses all build up to a finale, they'd have to come up with some way to frame the extra two worlds and that implies a story and it may as well be a new game, fully fledged and original.
What if Susie's plot was just get back at her Father for not recognizing her after she came back, not knowing everything he did with his company was for his wish of seeing her again?She said she wanted to teach him a lesson when she tried to steal Star Dream, not kill him.

I'm kinda hoping HAL would do something major for Kirby's 25th anniversary since it is coming next year. A jump to 3D sounds like it would be a plausible choice, but I'm afraid HAL would delay that idea in order for them to perfect how Kirby plays in a 3D space. Hopefully Rumble Blast is the last step HAL has before transitioning to 3D and could work on development faster.Maybe they're working on it now, who knows? I also want to believe anon.

We're at a weird spot now since the NX is looming by so its too late to be making games on the 3DS/WiiU and maybe too early to be doing it in NX, so maybe Planet Robobot was just more of the usual to hold over until the next generation.
Based on releases since 2011, HAL seems to have 2 Kirby teams, both operating on 2 year dev cycles and with a kirby game every year. One team has consistently had Kumazaki as director of the main line 2D games, which gave us RtDL/TD/PR, while the other doesn't have a consistent director but always does the experimental and spin-off games, so far we had Mass Attack and Rainbow Curse.
Seems to me like tackling 3D is something Kumazaki wants to do and would want for the main series, so I think we've still got a couple of years before we get there, which misses the anniversary. Unless the spin-off team are currently working on a 3D Kirby game, I don't see it making the anniversary deadline, what with HAL's standard for quality.
Who the hell knows though, its all speculation, I do expect at the very least a game next year, even if it isn't directly tied to the anniversary. Spin-offs are wild cards though, who knows what we'll get.

I had a good-sized collection prior to the game even getting announced, and wanted to complete it with as little frustration as possible. Yes, It's as hard as everyone says, and I likely couldn't have gotten through it without using amiibo. I am just that shit at it, so I took an alternate route.
