They're realizing that they don't "compete" with the PC in the traditional sense. They only benefit from attacking their opposition (the other console), and making the exclusivity deal only stop them from going there is cheaper for them and gets more sales for the developer.

Last year capcucks(and rest of fgc) were very adamant SFV would destroy Tekken 7 in sales if they were released at the same time. That might be true but due to resent events I feel T7 will make even sales.
