What bothers me is that the consoles are now apparently going to have much shorter gens which means you'll have to update hardware much more frequently. And I have yet to be proven better hardware produces better games. Maybe better looking ones but definitely not objectively better as a whole. You'll have your PC's power that blows Scorpio out the ass, and can still use your original Win7/XP for normal stuff.
