Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta probably have some of the only "giant" bossfights I've ever enjoyed in action games and I figured Platinum would be able to make something pretty interesting with a game where you ride on a fucking dragon. I was expecting it to start at least shooting shit out everywhere or something, for the dragons to have a little speed to their movement along with some air dodging, instead that was some MMO tier looking shit where they just sat there spamming shit at it.

Looks a lot like Dragon's Dogma, with a God of War style bossfight. Which isn't bad but it's disappointing that big name Japanese devs are sort of floundering at this point. Multiple delays, over-reliance on consumer feedback, after all this time its like they're still too used to making ps2 games.

Because yesterday we didn't have an extended gameplay video of "the biggest bossu platinumu has ever done"
its slow as hell, there's no real cooperations in the coop part (just have your dragon blast the weak spots), nothing happens except dragon breath (which you don't control) and meleeing the weak spot with slow combos. there's 2 scripted parts of that boss fight so it will play out the exact same thing every time. which begs the question of why there is even a variety of weapons since your standard combo for all of them will essentially do the same thing and behave the same (just smack the big glowing weak spot while the boss is stunned)

This. The protagonist is cringeworthy, the combat looked boring, the dragon stuff was underwhelming. The design of the crab was alright though.
