Why can't DICE just put more effort into making the air game of the BF3 and beyond games more satisfying and worthwhile? Here it seems it is in getting the zeppelin out of the sky and prevent it from raining hell, but air combat isn't fun when you are only ever fighting two other jets tops, and maybe 2-3 helicopters on top of that. Give me 6v6 air, that only takes 6 players from each side while still having 24 per team on the ground. It isn't like you removed that many, and you just made the air more crowded and fun to fight in.

Military deaths UK (and colonies): 744,000
Military deaths British African colonies : 156,931
Percentage African: 21%
Besides the UK the biggest contributor in terms of lost lives were Nigeria whose contribution at 85000 deaths were even larger than Canada or Australia. However most of them died on the African front, there were barely any British Africans on the western front. I would imagine a lot of Africans died because of dysentery and perhaps Africa usually being a meat grinder during wars. Also the numbers come from the Soviet union so take them with a grain of salt.
About 5 percent of French troops were African, and about 7 percent of American troops who fought on the western front were black.
Saying the number of black in the first world war are negligible is ignorance, even the German Erich Maria Remarque wrote about them in his book. However trying to make them the heroes of the war is just historical revisionism.

I don't give a shit about historical accuracy, because it's a battlefield game, and they're completely fictional. What's disappointing is how WW1 could have had unique gameplay, but it ended up just being a reskin. Everyone's going to have a sniper rifle, assault rifle and sub machine equivalent that's going be just as strong as the BF4 equivalent.
Really, if everyone is carrying a bolt action rifle, the gameplay shift dramatically, because you can treat enemies differently. It's just harder to kill someone with a bolt action rather than a no-recoil fully automatic assault rifle. But nope, we're just getting a reskin.
