If Nintendo brings back the stamina system from Skyward Sword and ALBW, I hope they divide it up into "Movement Stamina" for stuff like Link sprinting or climbing up walls, and "Ammo Stamina" for stuff like bombs, arrows and magic.
Tying it to a constantly recharging pool was a smart idea, but it'd be kind of silly in a Half-Life 2 kind of way for Link to not be able to sprint out of danger because he was shooting arrows at something.

Like, the traditions in Zelda were pretty low on my list of things I had problems with for the series. Most of my problems have been with the crazy experimental shit like the wolf and flying, or the poor implimentation of things like huge fields with nothing in them, and motion controls that are forced into every situation where it's possible.
Having a green tunic and seven medallions to collect leading up to a fight with Ganondorf was never an issue for me as long as the quest itself was fun.

Okay, I can begin to see your point of view but I still disagree.
I will list some things that go against your opinions and you can tell me things that disprove this without resorting to them being anomalies.
Exploration is by definition a mile wide and inch deep facet of a game. In fact, the only way that you can change that is by locking off a method of traversing the environment, which is a staple of many exploration based games (including Zelda).
Second is the matter of the characters. Please tell me a series where a game has more than a few recurring and interesting characters. Nintendo's less involved cast in general are quite a bit more charming than your average character, as they say some pretty fucking weird things.
Some of these include:
