So I'm currently emulating every ps2 game that look even remotly interesting and I'm currently playing the first Ar tonelico. After skiming through a faq to see if there was any important missable or stuff like that I've found that the game is divided in several phases.
Are phases like chapters? Or new game +? Because the faq is making it look like it's both.
it's just the way the game is divided but after a certain phase/chapter you have to pick a waifu and get locked to that waifu ending

I plan to emulate the ace combat after the Ar series but I heard they cannot be emulated very well. Also Armored Core Nexus run dipe to 80-90% every time I start a mission but the cutscene run just fine what's up with that?

Surge Concerto question: So, I don't fully understand what Oversight is. Is it something that all being from higher dimension has when they brought in by Interdimend? Are they could use Oversight naturally by themselves (but not master, judging how the description in the wiki with one could lost their sight of their Qualia thing), or must be taught/'awakened' or some sort to use it? And how we, the player, has it despite not being in the lower dimension? I don't play Ciel NoSurge so I have no idea about these stuff.

This explains it well in my opinion.
You, as a player have oversight because you see the game from different/higher angle and have information the other people in that dimension could not. The game even gives examples of this when you need to go places Delta could never know to go, but you do. You also see the battles from a turn based perspective and that gives you huge advantage. That's why Delta is useless after you can't control him anymore.
As for Ion and Nero, I think people who are brought from another dimension can still use Oversight naturally. Oversight also differs from person to person.
