Played her for a few hours. She's not even remotely hard to use nor is she particularly good.
Her entire role is to be supplementary to a good team and her turrets are purely a common sense check. She can't do jack shit without a solid team and her setup time is ridiculous thanks to the retarded cooldown on her sentry ability. She doesn't "melt tanks" either unless said tank is completely retarded or low on health.
She legit needs a bit of a buff and her shields ability needs to be completely reworked. As it is, it may as well be a fucking passive seeing as there's no decision making involved in it's usage whatsoever.

I play significantly worse whenever I have one on my team. She wears an outfit that is clearly intended to be sexy, fitting tight around her ass and showing her legs. But the combination of that with her pinched face, her hook nose, her shit colored skin, her fake arm, her greasy hair, her voice that sounds like an old fat woman, and the thought of the putrid fecal stench that she would produce creates a horrifying juxtaposition. Imagine a fat woman. She does not bathe. Her smell is indescribable. Her skin sags and folds in bizarre ways. Chances are, if you don't adapt fast enough after realizing the Torbjorn has a hold on the entire game you're going to lose.
D.Va's ult takes about 2 whole minutes to activate. Even under ideal conditions.
It's the only thing that can end a "MOLTEN COOOORE" festival with 6 Torbjorns. If you break through and they start backpedaling it's pretty much over for them.

Her turrets are more a back up DPS and alarm system. Place 1 or 2 on flank routes and pay attention if theyre set off and then the rest should be placed where people will duck in for cover or to block a choke point. Try to focus on people your team is focusing on with your beam and take pot shots at turrets or whatever else.

King's Row is a map where she's good till the end on defense. The last side passage with the health pack is a good lair, the teleporter shaves valuable seconds and Symmetra herself is a dangerous ambush character, especially if you're playing in pubs, which we are.

Don't just run in to an entire team solo, even if you're pocketing his ulti, you'll just get destroyed. If you're backed by your whole team then you should be the one leading the charge. Jump in there, drop that shield, disrupt the shit out of them, and while they're only concerned with you, it gives your team a better chance at getting a foothold on the objective. If you have to go out on your own then you should try to do so stealthily and take routes that few people ever take. If you can single out any hero with low health then you chance them down, feed them that monkey dick, and back on out. If there's ever a solo Widowmaker on the enemy team that's giving you trouble then your best bet is to go Winston and fuck her up. Unless she lands a headshot on you in mid-air you'll get her 9 times out of 10. Main heroes you should be worrying about are things like Phara and McCreen, because if they get in your face they WILL fuck you up if they get the jump on you. Also worry about Roadhog, because if you end up trading with one odds are he'll win. Same goes for Zenyatta, because if he puts that discord on you then it's a sure sigh that you need to back the fuck up.
TL, DR: You've gotta be careful when using him, but don't underestimate his strengths. Learn his counters and you'll catch on sooner than later.
