I wouldn't say "favorite" but I've definitely enjoyed the series more than most people on /v/ would say. I wasn't still on /b/ during Uncharted 1 but Uncharted 2 and above have always been shitpost-fests without comparison

The problem with the series is that anything good about it is overshadowed by generic covershooting and overblown cinematics.
I REALLY wish they cut more cinematics, improved on the shooting to make it less like a gallery shooter, and make the actual exploration and treasure hunting aspect more defined. Also too much snap to grid platforming. I would have loved to seen the platforming involve much more free movement/jumping and requiring an actual modicum of playerskill.
I've always felt Uncharted had a fuck load of potential in its universe and presentation, but there's too much pressure to push MUH GRAPHICS and JAW DROPPING CINEMATICS that it just fucks everything up.
