Roboscorpions were encountered in packs usually, if I remember correctly, so whenever I saw a group of them, I would just pop a stealth boy from my hoard and just deactivate them.

The assault on the manor right at the start was fun and the emphasis on exploration which had been missing throughout all of F3 was back, and in an environment which wasn't shitty broken buildings copied and pasted.
Throwback references to other key Fallout characteristics, like tribals, actually make sense and are not played for standout memes like the Treehuggers at the Oasis, and the relationship between the Ghoul and Brain-in-a-jar scientist was actually well done, but certainly not as well done as OWB.

It's more complicated to use than the other two, but it's pretty cool because it does everything virtually, meaning you never have to edit your actual New Vegas folder (unless for installing NVSE or something I think), it keeps every mod separate in their own folder and merges them when you start the game, so you can go from a fully modded game to vanilla and back in a couple of seconds

That doesn't explain what's "wrong" with Fallout 3. Fallout New Vegas is just flat as fuck, barely communicates any interesting themes aside from maybe "the death of humanity/progress". Fallout 3 actually focuses on family elements which gives you a reason to keep playing
