In every other game I've played, I focus healing classes, always. I enjoy restoring health and being successful at keeping my team, group, raid, etc. alive.
I do not enjoy being a shit healer and contributing fuck-nothing to the group, especially when I can be a tank, sniper or offensive class.

This. I'm a Healer and Tank in MMOs primarily, rarely dps. In TF2 I could never medic well because I'm the type to be up front and at risk, and usually the only one that'll push shit because everyone else is a fucking coward.
In OW, I'm a terrible Mercy for the same reasons. I can take out what kills my enemies, but I can't heal stupid. I'm better off being Junkrat or Roadhog so I can reliably remove threats and thus the need for healing in the first place.

I've been doing the weekly brawl a lot as well, but even in regular play, when you approach another hero as any character, you have to take their specific strengths and weaknesses into mind, or you get your ass handed to you (assuming you're playing against a time of equal skill).
