Had I switched, we would have lost the only character that could reliably get behind the enemy offense, (which was reinhart based), and fuck shit up in their squishy backside.
If just switching to healer would have actually helped us, I would have done it, but as it was, I had no other choice than continue to play as genji. Them switching characters for zero reason lost us the game. Had the character composition stayed the way it was at the beginning, we would have won. We had them fucking locked down in their starting location, with me and tracer constantly harassing their backsides, while our dwarf guy set up defenses, roadhog and mcree kept them out of the payload, and lucio healed them.
But because our roadhog got shot by widowmaker, he decided that he needed to play as widowmaker too, and everything just fell apart.

Zenyatta is pretty fun, for me I just discord someone, then you basically get a wallhack marker on them and you can charge your right click and release it right when they turn a corner, can net you a ton of easy kills. Especially on heroes like Roadhogs who are easy to headshot and think their 600hp is going to save them when they have a discord on them. Lucio's AoE heal is meaningless unless you Amp it, and that has a long cooldown. His speed boost is also not as great as most people think, though it's nice to have. His only advantage over Mercy is that he can attack while doing his heal and requires zero skill to play.
Mercy can heal up the team almost as quickly as Lucio, but she can also outheal damage with her ridiculously strong M1 and use the damage boost to give allies an advantage. She also has insane mobility with a coordinated team and can easily keep 2 or 3 people alive even under heavy fire if you know how to play her. The Resurrect also has a much faster charge up than Sound Barrier while being arguably better - Sound Barrier blocks damage for a moment, but Resurrect instantly brings a dead teammate back to life.
