I play alot of support, what irks me is the one guy that spams need healing when I am nowhere near them, they are behind enemy lines and then complains about getting no healing.
When I'm playing Mercy on your team and you are not getting healing/buffs then it's because I don't think you are as effective as other team members.

I'm not going to pay attention to the 'trinity' in this game until they had more tanks and supports or make more of the current ones viable
As it is now reinhardt is the only real tank and lucio and mercy are the only real supports. All 3 are boring as fuck to me so I have no intention of playing those roles
It sounds like a douche thing to do but submitting to the meta is only going to make other players more likely to submit to it as well which is not healthy for this game. Does anyone really want to limit themselves to a small pool of meta heroes because that's what the pros/community consider to be the best picks?
That said, torb is fun as fuck, I can't tell you how many flanks I've ruined because a turret I left behind caught someone off guard, and if there's tons of carnage around you you can keep your team alive by constantly throwing armor at them.

1. People who play a certain role often enough to usualy be useful with that role, but will switch if they need to .
2. People who don't wanna switch, regardless of if they're good or not.
3. People trying to improve an least-played character to get more versatile.

She's a Defense hero, not much different than Torb. Winning any game without a hero that can heal is almost impossible, winning defense without one is really not going to happen unless the attackers are multiple skill tiers below the defenders.

Healers are nowhere near as necessary as they pretend to be especially mercy who can't do anything solo. Half the characters have self heal function so they make a healer useless for them. The others can just find the medkits every two steps to heal themselves. A competent team can easily go without a healer and a shit team won't be carried by a healer. If its a shit team that doesn't have a healer I would rather go rienhardt or zarya to prevent damage and push the objective.

Symmetra counters every flanker not just Tracer and Genji. You will always be forced to focus on destroying her turrets first before doing anything and then get fucked because you triggered the alarm.
Also one thing I thought about is why not make Genji invisible to Widowmakers Ultimate? He's a Ninja after all and should be the only one able to sneak past enemies without noticing even with Wallhacks on.

Technically it doesn't, or rather it didn't.
In the closed beta the stats screen showed your actual Win/Loss figures up at the top, unfortunately the babies whined that it was hurting their feelings so they took away the Loss stat and replaced it by just showing your Wins. They also had it set so that if you joined an in progress game via backfilling it was impossible for that game to count as a loss, it was only possible to get a win. The problem? Instead of showing straight up Wins/Losses the game now shows Wins and Games Played in your stats screen, where before backfilling a game meant you would never get a LOSS for it in the current setup backfilling still counts as a GAME PLAYED.
So yeah, it used to not be a loss but now it is because they forgot to fix it when they catered to retards.

Though admittedly this won't work if she's too far away for the boosters to reach, or if you miss a shot and Widow ziplines away (but D.Va's boosts have a much shorter cooldown than the hook so you should be able to get her anyway, it'll just take longer)

It takes a second to realise the team needs a healer and that giant tip should drill it into them, the only reason they haven't picked out of the two options is because they are going to pick an Offense hero. Same goes for the two unpicked when everyone else is Offense/Defence heroes.
My enjoyment of Overwatch has increased since ducking these games. Teams which pick heros quickly can change and form a reasonable team comp and you solve problems which can cost you losing a cap point at the assembly stage which the shitter team would only type out at the defeat screen.

It can cancel a lot of shit. You can cancel reload animations of characters like reaper to make their reload faster.
It also works for combos, for example as genji, at close range, you can right click, cancel it immediately into melee and then cancel the melee immediately into his shift dash which does a big chunk of burst damage and will one-shot anybody that isn't a tank if you manage to get headshots with your shurikens.
