Whats a good megaman to start? I never really ''got'' it but I've been listening to The Protomen and now I want play the games.
Of all of them, I enjoyed BN5 the most. Fantastic. Challenging but not impossible. Also, the game was robust. Tons of stuff to do after final boss.

I liked the noise mechanic. 1 had a nice plot, 2 was a borefest, 3 was nice.
Most of the time the battles looked casualized though, and I'm still mad at NAVIs and Progs being basically ded.
I still prefer BN 3,5 and 6.

LaserMan.EXE was cool and fun to battle, together with the Megaman clone. Too bad the Megazord final boss was quite borin, final bosses aside Alpha kinda suck anyway though.
