The Talos Principle explained the reuse of certain Serious Sam assets by saying that the simulation had to be hastly and cheaply put together and Croteam in the game's universe was providing their engine and assets for free.
They even explained the wacky eastereggs which are signs of the simulation slowly deteriorating and bugs which result in the programm accessing databases and libraries it normally shouldn't.

There's an island just off the edge of the map that straight up has the hatch from LOST
In both inFamous 1 and 2, you can fast-travel to any significant location you've already visited by bringing the cursor over that area on the map, and holding the shoulder button for sucking up electric (can't remember which one). Cole is zapped by lightning and disappears in a thunder crack, and reappears where you chose after a brief load screen with another lightning bolt and clap of thunder. I'm always surprised by how many people don't know this, otherwise I wouldn't describe it in detail.

Not entirely correct. People who achive CHIM can only be lucid in the Godhead's dream. Becoming a godhead and making your own dream universe is called amaranth.

Not really. The whole idea that every player has CHIM is based on some theories on a blog that people took to seriously. For a person to actually achieve CHIM they have to know what CHIM is first, not every player knows CHIM. I guess you can roleplay that you have CHIM though.

Most of it can be found in Morrowind books/lore and characters like Vivec (who was trying to achieve CHIM iirc? it's been a while). A lot of it is also covered outside of the games too, the main writer behind it being Michael Kirkbride. Check out his comic c0da which is a future sci fi story set in the ES universe if you'd like a mindfuck. I dont expect modern Bethesda to ever elaborate on it in mainline games though sadly

What happens when someone chims in the games is that they become god-hoods, or leaves completely. There are only two people who are known to achieve CHIM, which is Tiber Septim and Vivec. Once you achieve CHIM you kinda lose the sense and purpose of the world that you live in, so you stop interacting with it physically.
Saying its console commands just diminishes its purpose in the game-world. It has a bigger potential and purpose than that.
