Heya. I know this is gonna seem odd, but I have some info about that Sonic 25th anniversary party they're throwing next month. Because of the live stream, they've recently began hiring people to manage some of it, IT and such, and I'm part of it.
Schedule is as follows:
6PM - Opening event, trailer for the LEGO Dimensions Sonic story pack. 2017 release. Essentially a remake of Sonic's story from SA1, though cut down a bit. Pack comes with Sonic, The Tornado, a S1 Item Box and a thing for the game's base to make it look Sonic-y.
6:30PM - Table Read of the Sonic Boom S1 finale and a scene from the first episode of Sonic Boom S2 Premiere.
7PM - Q&A with Aaron Webber, Takashi Iizuka and Kazuyuki Hoshino.
8PM - Crush 40 and Hyper Potions concert. Plans are to play SA1, 2 and Heroes material, ending with a song for the new game.
9PM - Cosplay contest.
9:30PM - Finale. Plans are to announce Sonic Boom's S2 Premiere Date, show off a new trailer for Fire and Ice and the announcement of this year's main Sonic games. Sonic 25th Anniversary Collection, a Xbox One, PS4 and Steam collection of every Sonic game up to Sonic Adventure 2 to be released in September. Some games like Sonic R and Fighters will include widescreen. Sonic 1 and 2 are Taxman versions. Physical and Digital, collector's edition includes a statue of Classic Sonic and a Artbook.

What? SA1's music isn't edgy at all. All the 'edgy' music in SA2 comes from Shadow's levels. Sonic Adventure 1 has cheesy rock, but it's all very bouncy and happy. The most edgy it gets is Lost World, for being slightly somber.

This picture appeared on /v/ a few nights ago. Obviously it's of Lego Sonic. But it's not the lego sonic in the trailer, or the lego sonic from gameplay. This same Lego Sonic has the same reddish tint to it, though. The red lighting. It implies that this is a 3D model remake of a scene from the lego sonic trailer, from someone who had already seen it. Now, as look at this picture, look at the picture I'm replying to. A pose, with a sonic model, by someone who claims to have seen sonic material.
