Real minesweaper will move the bomb to the upper-left corner if there was one under your first click. If that's occupied or that's where you're clicking, it'll move to the right corner, then the bottom, and so on.

All the legit Windows Minesweapers are impossible to lose at on the first click. They'll always move the bomb if you would have clicked it, and they can't generate a board where the bomb can't be moved.

Try going maximum bombs on maximum field, you will never click on the bombs on your first try and win.
For further testing try 2 bombs less than the amount of fields, your second click will almost always kill you.
