I regularly top elims as Rein. He's probably the easiest cruise control for free kills in the game, just pick him if there's a Mercy. No pub Mercy player knows how to play so they pocket you, just abuse your infinite health for free kills. Every two or three softies you smash gives you an ult, just dump it on packs, healers, or to cancels ults and get more free kills and charge, repeat.
Very little can stop an aggressive Rein with a pocket healer other than teamwork, and that's not going to appen in pubs.

The thing about Widow is that her shot charges so quickly you can pop off full-strength shots quick enough to kill just about anyone. With an additional second added to the shot charge time, she'd be much less of a threat
McREEEEEEEE's is only bullshit because his moveset is entirely set up for him to flash+fan+roll+fan, doing an instant- what, 1000 or so?-- damage, and it's a combo that just about anyone can figure out within 10 minutes of first picking up the character.
Mei's freeze is just annoying because you have to watch her line up the headshot to deal the killing blow if she gets you. The only broken thing about her is her Ult extending 5 miles into the sky as well- you can be a Pharrah at the peak of her rocket jump off of a tall building as the ult pops 2 stories below, STILL somehow get hit, & end up thawing before you hit the ground.
Roadhog is only bullshit on the Ilios Well, where my own hook can't reach halfway across the fucking pit if I'm standing on the lip but any enemy roadhog can miraculously pull me into it from my spawn while they're in theirs like a big dumb meany baww :'(

I've yet to see a good McCree. All the ones I see usually can't hit shit, don't use flashbangs and/or Q at point blank only to just get focused to death. I've seen plenty of awful Widowmakers still manage to get POTG by just spastically body shooting people. Widowmaker being a laughably broken, super low skill ceiling sniper with a game that has the hit box equivalent of bumper lanes makes it so that any idiot can be good with her.

Yup, happened to me yesterday. Horrible team on that Russian capture map. Played as Mercy, could barely touch the first point because everyone kept charging in single file to die. I was getting killed constantly by a Reaper who my team just allowed to get behind us. All it takes to handle that shit is to not get tunnel vision and limiting the running space around you. If they get in hammer range or hit them with a projectile, they pretty much have to retreat, get killed by the hammer, or killed by your team. Genji's ult, you can potentially tank or charge through, but is still a big threat if you don't have the health.
