Still though, it's ultimately irrelevant to the series as a whole and any of us unless you happen to be traveling to Japan in the near future with an urge to play pachinko of all things. Do people actually want a remake of a good game that's barely over a decade old? I don't understand the obsession or disappointment over this.
It's just a somewhat elaborate tie-in to the series. Like a pinball machine or a shirt. It's not as if the conversation at Konami was "We could make a MGS3 remake or just make a pachinko machine." It was "We should make a pachinko machine using Metal Gear's name!" Why do you care?
